My Experience with Performance Peel AP25

I’m a firm believer in self-care when it comes to my complexion. I’m really strict with my skin care regime and wear more sunscreen than anyone I know – #obsessive. I know that at my age,Ā exfoliation is an important step to keep my complexion looking fresh. I also know that my skin is too sensitive for scrubs or physical exfoliation. That leaves chemical exfoliation, which I’ve been a fan of for years.

Several weeks ago, ExuvianceĀ® asked me to try their new Performance Peel AP25 and share my results with you so this post is sponsored by ExuvianceĀ®. I agreed because I know that Glycolic Acid is well known as one of the gold standards for improving skin texture and enhancing its radiance without scrubbing on the skin.

I’ve been using this simple two-step peel, twice a week for six weeks and today I’m back to share my results. You can see how I use it Exuviance Perfomance Peel AP25 packets on A Well Styled life

I found the little pads easy to incorporate into my nighttime regime. I loved that the individual packets removed all the guesswork so I didn’t need to worry about using too much or too little. In ten short minutes, two easy steps, it’s done. Fast and easy.

My skin feels smoother, my pores appear smaller and I’m pretty sure some of my sun spots have faded. I say pretty sure because I’m not measuring things scientifically. I’m simply going by what I see with my own eyes which is all that really matters to me.Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled Life wearing gray plaid jacket and blush top

I’m very happy with the results and can confidently recommend it. I found the entire process almost effortless.

  1. I use tretinoin (generic Retin-A) every night and am not sure this product would be compatible with it. Your skin looks beautiful though. I also am getting a glycolic peel at my dermatologist’s skin care center every other month. I wish I’d taken my skincare more seriously when I was younger. I’m 73 now and taking it VERY seriously now!

    1. I skip Retin A on the nights Iā€™m using the peel. I wish Iā€™d taken better care of skin earlier too! I would have worn sun screen.

  2. my skin is also very sensitive and quite recently I was recommended to try the Konja sponge which is a very natural Asian
exfoliation, this sponge convinced me and the result is very satisfying,

Thank you for the wonderful information! I just ordered and am glad to be getting the trial products as well. You give us so much well thought out information on your blog. I especially like your tips on dressing for body types. I have lost 40 lbs the last couple of years and am relearning what to wear…with some help from you!
