Happy Tuesday, ladies. I have to admit, I buy far too many things from Amazon…but they’re just so easy to buy and return if it’s not what I expected. I’ve been on quite the Amazon spree lately and wanted to share some of my latest finds to help get organized for fall.
Do you like to use things like these to organize your spaces? I’ll never go Marie Kondo in my home, but some of these little things seem like such a good idea.
These are very nice items, but I must say I don’t splurge much on home items. I live in a townhouse now that my husband and I have down sized, empty nesters. I did however just receive the jacket from Nordstrom yesterday, and I love it. Here in the south, it will probably take me most of the way through winter. I don’t even own a heavy coat. Last Christmas we had an oyster boil on the front porch with family, you never know here what you are going to get. Maybe, however, it’s time for me to splurge on some home items. Love your posts.
I am the “queen of organizing” …at least in my own mind!
My favorite store is the “Container Store!” I have bins, baskets, turntables, boxes, you name it, it’s in this house. I have enjoyed using many of the things you cite here. It is fun to be organized so I can find all the “stuff” I’ve brought into this house.
I love Amazon; it’s addicting though. It’s almost like magic. Just about anything you want can be ordered and appears at your home. For the most part, I’ve found great items; even some of the clothing.
It looks as if you got sucked down the Amazon rabbit hole — LOL! This happens to me on bookstore sites. We don’t buy anything from Amazon unless we absolutely have to. I like and use organizers. I looked at one of those counter trivets months ago but decided it would only get in the way: my husband is not a plant fan so adding one near the sink would annoy him. I have plenty of plants elsewhere. Hope you are having a relazing time.
Hello, Jennifer,
Your pearls ard stunning, amazing, gorgeous and enlighten your look ! I wish you many happy moments like that !
I am in Rome so I will do some research for this baroque style!
Flights are getting worse and worse, sometimes they offer you a glass of plain water,or if you are lucky you can buy a sandwich !
I have a two stage style of packing ; firstly, I throw things near the bags, then, after a while I sort them out and put them nicely packed in the two bags, one for me , the other for my husband. I allow myself a time of reflection in between packings because otherwise ,I would be tempted to take s closet! I use my son s former room to do this selection and packingš¤£
Funny !!! Hillarious , but I love the thrill of planning my journeys !
I was in London in July and now in Rome, Florence, but I consider your idea of spending more time in one place only, as being brilliant!
I wish you a great cruise and I m waiting for details !
Sorry for this long story ,
Mihaela
Thank you so much, Mihaela. I think your idea to give ourselves time to reflect on what weāre packing is brilliant! Enjoy your travels. They sound so lovely.
If you belong to Costco, they have 2 Tramontina skillets for the price of one.
Love the lamp.

I’ve worn mine twice on this trip and love the weight.

Such great ideas! Really like the pillows and always love Yankee candles. The soap holder is really great.
Those little soap trivets look so nice.
Absolutely think the cutting board phone holder is very cute. What a great idea for a gift. (For me) and others.
I thought it was a great gift idea too š
