Black Friday Specials on a Few of My Favorite Brands

Happy Friday, ladies. I share a lot of different brands with you, and every one of them is having a Black Friday Cyber sale. Today, I want to share a few brands that are near and dear to my heart.

Scrub and Throw

I shared this little gem of a company with you last year, and your response was amazing! Besides loving the product, this is a small, woman-owned business that I love to support.

scrub and throw sponges
SCRUB AND THROW DISPOSABLE SPONGES

Sink sponges get gross and harbor germs pretty quickly, so I was thrilled to find these little single-day-use sponges. They’re scratch-free, germ-free, non-toxic sponges that are plastic-free, biodegradable, and sustainably made. I haven’t bought a conventional sponge since!

They’re currently on a Black Friday special at 20% off. I think these would be a great hostess gift too!

Collagen For Her

You may recall I started adding Collagen For Her to my morning smoothies last year, and I’m still at it. They’ve recently sent me their new Marine Collagen Beauty Gummies, which are fabulous! Now it’s even easier to ensure I get my collagen.

Collagen for Her is another women-owned small company making products with recognizable ingredients with women’s unique needs in mind.

For Black Friday through Cyber Monday, these Marine Gummies are 25% off, so I am stocking up! They also have their other collagen products on special, but I don’t eat meat, so I’m focusing on marine products :).

Freshwater Pearls

My Jennifer Baroque pearl necklace will be getting quite a workout this season, as will the other beautiful pieces I have from them. The Freshwater Pearl Company gives back in many ways and will give 2% of ALL sales to the American Cancer Society.

MY 12-14mm LANI PEARL EARRINGS ARE ON CONSTANT ROTATION FOR ME LATELY AND FINALLY BACK IN STOCK!
PEGGY NECKLACEPANAMA BRACELET

For our casual trip to Lake Tahoe this week, I brought my Panama Bracelet with its ever-so-helpful magnetic closure and their new Peggy necklace, which I wore for a casual dinner at Garwood’s on the lake. The necklace has an easy front closure that allows me to change the length of the drop.

I’m also wearing my Lani Earrings and Nile Baroque bracelet, which you can just see peeking out of my glove. These earrings make an amazing, modern statement, so when I wear them, I usually skip a necklace in favor of a bracelet.

You can save 15% sitewide with the code AWSL at checkout…even on the Jennifer necklace.Ā Theyā€™re also giving free shipping plus a free gift included with every order through 11/29.Ā

Dean Davidson

My favorite Canadian jewelry designer, Dean Davidson, is offering 30% off site-wide with a code that is added automatically at checkout. Plus, from November 25-28, they’ll have some special deals with 40% off some of their best-selling products. His pieces are truly beautiful, and I love that he’s Canadian, like me :).

LARGE KNOCKOUT STUDS on saleĀ  – SIGNATURE KNOCKOUT PENDANT on sale

Many of the fabulous pieces you’ve seen me wear are marked way down so it’s a great time to shop or send a link to your favorite Santa :).

Our Place

The Our Place, Black Friday sale, is on, and it’s a doozy with up to 45% off sitewide! I fell hard for the size and convenience of the Always Mini Pan I got last month, so I’ve ordered a few for Christmas gifts, plus a Tiny Cast Iron Always pan for us.

Our Place is another women-owned business, and I love that she’s also focused on sustainability.

TALBOTS

I could not sign off without letting you know about Talbots’ Black Friday celebration! I’m sure it goes without saying that I’ll be doing some damage at this sale.

When things are marked this low, that’s when I look for investment pieces…

I’ll be back tomorrow for would you wear it. See you then.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Thank you so much for responding to my query about the blue vest and providing a link. Yes, I wish they were more affordable also, it is a beautiful piece to add to a wardrobe.

  2. Beautiful jewelry, Jennifer! Talbots really hit it out of the park with their holiday collection this year–sadly the crepe tuxedo jacket is already sold out in all the larger sizes:-( (12 and Up).

  3. Reading this late, so I don’t know if you’ve mentioned elsewhere, the source for those gorgeous blue gloves?
The puffer vest is great, but I must admit, I clicked on that picture to get to this page because I thought it was the silver puffer vest that Talbot’s is showing now, that I just bought. Wanted to see how you would style that!
I do love all your styling in this post! Tres chic!

Hi, Iā€™ve been reading your blog for a few years now and love it. Iā€™m glad you and your husband were able to relax and enjoy your trip. You two look great together and Iā€™m glad he is doing better.
Also Iā€™m enjoying your brothers books. Iā€™ve read one and have ordered the other two Iā€™m previewing them for a neighbors young son. I personally enjoyed the first and have started the second.
Enjoy all of the holidays coming

    1. We had a lovely relaxing time, thank you!

  5. I didn’t see any information regarding that beautiful blue wrap coat you’re wearing in the picture where you talk about the Lani pearl earrings. Can that be purchased anywhere or is it out of style ? I would love to have that piece.

I have using collegen for over a year now and have noticed my skin is looking firmer and my lines less pronounced and my hair for sure is thicker. I have grey very fine hair and itā€™s worked wonders for adding volume and making it look healthier so l am sticking with it for sure. Love the black cowl sweater and the black plaid scarf look too have to rush to Talbots sale ! Happy weekend Jennifer l love Lake Tahoe in the winter:)We have dear friends in Squaw Valley and there is a terrific hike up to the secret lake above the village worth taking:)

    1. It’s so lovely here:)

  7. First thing Iā€™ve wanted to buy in blackā€¦ that cashmere cowl sweater. Also cover the black watch plaid scarf. Wear both with black jeans and boots. And a relaxed belt over the sweater. I donā€™t generally wear black as it fades me away but with that outfit I wouldnā€™t care!

  8. I loved this post and thanks for many wonderful tips. I would love to know where you purchased the white down vest. My biggest challenges are where to buy things thanks

  9. Barbara Harmon says:

I have been wanting a Dean Davidson knockout pendant, thanks for letting us know they are on sale! I have ordered one in the beautiful midnight blue.

  10. Iā€™ve been wanting to try collagen, so I guess now is a good time with the sale prices! Thanks for the recommendations!

  11. Wore my new Lands End vest ( like the one you are wearing above). Got so many compliments! People said I looked stylish! Love the lining and longer length. Kept me very warm!

    1. I’m so glad you like it. I love that vest!! I’ve been wearing it here in Lake Tahoe

  12. Ooh, I like the David Davidson jewelry, especially his stud earrings! The pandemic combo of mask, glasses and dangly earrings always ended in a tangle. Even if I don’t always wear a mask now, I appreciate the simplicity of the studs.
And the photo of you in the grey hat outdoors could be a movie poster. If it is, let us know when to get tickets.

    1. Oops, Dean Davidson’s jewelry, not David.

    2. You are so fun, Margaret! I agree I get tangled up with mask strap, glasses, and long earrings šŸ™‚

    3. I have been busy working with my daughter decorating a home for Christmas. Hard work, but great to be with her. So I read to post late, but really like some of your suggestions, but most of all thanks for the photos and especially the ones you were wearing.

  13. Love all the new colors and textures you are showing!
    Thanks!

  14. My hairstylist recommended collagen also. She loves it for hair and skin. I’ll be purchasing some for sure.

  15. I’ve considered trying Collagen For Her for my hair and was hoping you’d follow up with an honest review. Since you’ve been using it for a year, I assume it’s offering you some tangible benefit. Can you tell us what they are? Thanks and Happy Holidays!

    1. Itā€™s hard to separate out what is making changes because I do soooo many things for my hair. I do think my nails have improved along with my arthritis pain.

  16. Thanks for all your fashion advice. Happy Holidays!
