Leopard and Linen

Happy Wednesday ladies. I want to take a moment to welcome my new readers. Here on A Well Styled Life, you will find fashion, some recipes, books, lifestyle, travel (when I can), and style tips… along with inspiration to live your best, most confident life over 50. This is a community of women who come together frequently in the comment section to share ideas, offer support and encouragement to like-minded women. I am so glad you’re here.

Now It’s time for our midweek would you wear it. In case you’re new here, each week my friend Pam and I share a mannequin we have photographed and ask if you would wear what it’s modeling. Stores dress their mannequins to show their newest merchandise but also to give us ideas for styling garments.

So tell me, ladies, would you wear this outfit? How could you style it to work for your shape and lifestyle?

Please keep your comments personal to your body and life. We love the exchange of styling ideas in the comments.

Many of us think of leopard as a cool weather pattern but there is plenty of it all summer long. Here are a few things that caught my eye-

Now let’s go see what Pam’s mannequin is modeling on Over 50 Feeling 40.

Thanks for reading ladies and remember to wear what makes you feel confident.

This mannequin would not tempt me to buy any of these products. She looks wrinkled and the pieces dont look good together to me. I do like the colors though.

I have a rain jacket that is like this. I love it and every time I wear it I get lots of compliments and inquiries as to where I got it. I have had it for years. I would not wear this style of top but I like the colors together.

I think this is a no for me. There’s too much bulk on top with both the peplum shirt and the leopard jacket with drawstring feature. I am short and also buxom. I’m not wild about the pants either, but might wear them.

I’m afraid this is a big no for me. I’m not a fan of animal print, the top is shapeless and the pants look like exercise wear. There is too much bulk around the waist. This might look good on someone with an hourglass figure but it would all hang on me.

Have the jacket in olive green and pair with leopard scarf and muted gold t shirt top with black jeans. Definitely a fall outfit!
