Changing Schedule

Happy Tuesday ladies. I wanted to let you know that I will be adjusting my blog posting schedule for the summer.

meet fashion blogger Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled Life

I’ve got several technical updates planned on the backend of the blog that I hope will help it to look better and be more efficient. I’m also working on some new content delivery that has been in the planning stages forever that I need time to complete.

Have you ever heard the expression, “busy as a one-armed paper hanger”? That’s how I often feel and as a solo entrepreneur, I need to give myself the luxury of time to do things well. I’m a bit of a perfectionist (HUGE) and so it takes me twice as long to do things as other people.

I may pop into your mailbox more frequently, but for now, I will be publishing a blog post on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Thanks for being the best part of this blog ladies!

  1. I know how it feels not to be able to catch up with important projects, because you just don’t have the time! I look forward to the improvements. Lucky me, I have just returned from traveling to locations without wifi, so I have a nice backlog of posts to catch up on. There’s nothing wrong with perfectionism (I am a big-time perfectionist myself) – it leads to a professional-looking web site and blog postings. But it does take a lot more time!

    1. It’s does make me slower at everything šŸ™‚

  2. No worries, Jennifer. I always enjoy every one of your posts and will welcome them whenever they arrive. Try to find time as well just to relax and recharge. Happy Summer!

So glad you gave us a heads up. I look forward to your blog every day. Will probably save me some money this summer šŸ˜ƒšŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ¦³ enjoy your time off this summer and donā€™t work to hard.

  4. I read your post each morning while I have my coffee and have learnt so much from you I now take a lot of care about the way I dress especially around the house. Thanks for all the time and effort that you put in and good luck with the new blog.

  5. Just going to add a Thank You here. I would rather have fewer emails/posts so that I have time to read and enjoy them…..I am happy with the change. Your posts always have good content and I can see and appreciate the work you have put into them. There is another blogger who has gone in the opposite direction and has more posts per day/week than I care to read….ready to delete her…

  6. Thanks for all the effort and thoughtfulness of your blog and for fostering a community of ladies who also share and post great things.

Your blog was one of the nicest things during the darker days of the pandemic. It must have been very hard for you but you were real and upbeat.

    1. I am so proud of this community! You ladies are the very best.

  7. I guess I’ll live. Haha. I will be travelling myself a lot this summer, so this means there will be less for me to catch up on when I get back. I will be spending some time in Toronto (my hometown) checking out the current shopping scene.

    1. I grew up in a Toronto suburb until my early teens. I knew you were fabulous, Kay, and this is just one more reason why! XX

  8. Thanks for doing this blog. You are my ā€œtime to sit and chat with friendsā€ time.
Great job and enjoy every minute of this information, style and just plain fun. šŸ˜‰

  9. Here I thought I was going to relax this summer, but I sort of feel if you’re spending two days a week working hard, then maybe I should too? I’ve got several projects that need concentrated time to get done. So, I’m going to take the Jennifer Connolly challenge and work on my projects several hours on Tuesday and Thursday.
I’m looking forward to see what you have in store for us! Thanks for all you do.

  10. I adore your adorable blouse. Where is it from?

    1. It’s a Chico’s dress from a few years ago.
