Comfort On Sale

Comfort On Sale

This was the year I needed new shoes. I usually buy my shoes at Nordstrom because they have free shipping and returns!

I have difficult, painful feet. Two bunion surgeries on the same foot and my other foot is just begging for one. So far, I’ve been able to ignore its whining. I don’t want surgery, so comfort is critical with my shoes.

I’m almost always in flats. Last week I found some very comfortable, low wedges that don’t bother my bad hip. Gee, it sounds like I’m falling apart!

I always have great luck with Eileen Fisher shoes. They run slightly large, so I go down a size.  I spotted these, and literally wore them out of the store!

The mesh upper is soft and the asymmetrical line makes my wide foot appear narrower.

The thick sole is casual but I will dress them up too! I love the fun zipper up the back. These will be my go to shoes all fall and winter. Remember, I live in CA so the cut-outs are fine. Plus I’ll wear them with tights or socks.

As Murphy Law happens,  I just found these for 25% off at Neiman Marcus ! They also have free shipping and returns. So if you’re interested, that’s where you should buy them! If they came in another color, I’d buy a second pair!

If you really want to pay full price, you can get them here at Nordstrom, like I did.

OR, Nordstrom now price matches everything, so just tell them about the sale at Neimans and they will honor it!

You’re welcome:))

I agree. And it’s just not worth the discomfort.

Those are great Jennifer. I like the asymmetrical styling. And the cool “rugged” sole. They’ll be great with cropped pants, won’t they?

Super chic Jennifer! I love the look of those. Foot things are so hard. My friend had bunion surgery 3 weeks ago and I cannot believe how much pain and recovery it was. Not sure if I could do it. Thank goodness for all the comfy shoes now! Xo Kim

Bunion surgery is excruciating. I hope to never go through it again. That’s why well fitting, comfortable shoes are so important to me. XX.

The bottom of my right foot always hurts; results of the cowboy boots from Hell… Don’t ask. I wear a 6A width, so shoes with a B or medium width are too wide, and I rarely find narrows. It’s a curse to have skinny feet. xoxox, Brenda

Those shoes look really comfy! I stopped wearing high heels a long time ago. I either wear flats or a small heel.

Hello Jennifer- sorry to hear about your hip! I can empathize. Years ago I fell in the shower while shaving my legs (at a resort) and l’m fairly sure I tore something- but anyway- it is painful. My neighbor is a deep tissue masseuse so I go visit there at least every two months?.

The shoes are darling, and if I didn’t have enough, I would snap those up.
I have not worn heels in a decade. I take that back- few years back our Xmas party theme was the roaring 20’s and I went as a flapper. Bought a cute pair of heels for that night then gave them to one of my friends at work the next day. They were excruciating!

Our Colorado weather has been gorgeous up until now, but I have a feeling it could take a permanent dip any time. Will be wearing low heeled boots. Hoping it holds off because husband and I have a new hobby- riding tandem. Helping to work those older muscles!!! Yeah!

Low heeled boots are my favorite when it’s cold! It’s just not worth torturing our feet any longer is it?

Those shoes are perfect, Jennifer. They’ll go with anything 🙂 On sale? even better.
