The trend of brands recognizing the importance of women over 50 is growing and real. It used to be they were all represented by 16-year-old girls with no life experience or lines on her face. Thankfully that’s starting to change. Many brands are now understanding how important and vital the demographic of midlife women is. And for some, along with age comes buying power.
They’re also choosing bloggers over 50 to introduce them to our readers. I’m honored Artful Home chose me to be a Brand Ambassador to showcase their unique fashion at the blogging conference I just attended.
I felt incredibly confident and empowered wearing their beautiful clothes throughout this conference.
My last post received some push-back on the price of the garments I was wearing. They are not inexpensive and I am very fortunate to have had them supplied to me.
I share many brand and price points for my readers because we all have different budgets and tastes. Companies like Chico’s, L’Oreal Paris, Cole Haan, Kate Spade, Nisson and many others have all begun using older women in their advertising campaigns.
I want to encourage you to support these brands, as they support women over 50. We are visible… we are vital…and we are important.
