Happy Friday, ladies. Now that it’s getting dark out earlier, we’re all starting to spend more time indoors…reaching for cozy clothes and accessories. I can’t ever have enough cozy things around me this time of year, so I think they make some of the best gifts. I’ve made no secret of the fact that Nordstrom is my go-to place to shop, and during the holidays are no different. They have gifts from my favorite comfy brands like UGG and Barefoot Dreams, and no matter your budget, they have cozy gifts for everyone on your list!
My Cozy Favorites to Give and Receive
Things can get busy and pretty hectic during the holiday season, making it all the more important to schedule me-time and relaxation. I’ve just added a few cozy pieces to my wardrobe which enhance my self-care time and just make me feel better about myself.
For me, the moment I put on my pajamas, I instantly begin to relax and get cozy. I bought this short sleeve top and pants set in a flattering, soft navy. Long pajama pants are a struggle for me being 5’4″, but these are cropped and hit at just the right length. They come in six colors, I’m wearing a small.
Whether I’m starting my morning with English Breakfast tea or winding down at night with herb tea, I’ll be throwing on this long Barefoot Dreams robe. It’s dreamy and so soft! I’ve owned lots of their items through the years and can say that this one is worth the splurge. With house guests coming for the holidays, a fresh new robe was mandatory, and I couldn’t resist this one in soft Almond. I’m wearing a S/M. If you’re looking for gifts, you can’t go wrong with this robe or these jammies.Ā
Another great gift idea that I recently treated myself to is a new pair of slippers. My slippers take quite a beating because we don’t wear shoes in the house. I like investing in a good pair like UGG’s so that they last longer. These shearling slippers have an updated look with the quilting, are under $100, and feel like clouds on your feet with the cushioned footbed.
My cozy retreat at home wouldn’t be complete without a wonderful scent in the air. With no Christmas Tree up yet, I’m loving all the holiday feels I’m getting from this Jo Malone Pine & Eucalyptus Diffuser. The scent fills the room without being overpowering. I plan on making it my go-to hostess gift this year!
Iām also a fan of this cute andĀ cozy leopard print throwĀ from Barefoot Dreams. It’s perfect for an evening on the couch with a good book or watching holiday movies. I’ve gifted this blanket to friends before, and I will again!
If you don’t know someone’s size and want to play it safe, I’d recommend gifting a pair of Barefoot Dreams socks or the Barefoot Dreams scrunchies. These are budget-friendly and would make a great stocking stuffer. I plan on giving both to my daughter!

This post just delights me because I love soft, cozy comfort. And love the shorter days , early nights. My cup of tea.
Iāve lived in various types of climates, ā¦ sub zero endless winters, foggy damp coastal chill, long hot summers, and currently one-season tropical heat / humidity. Certainly miss the chance to wear warm cozy clothes. The most we wear are fleecy hoodies .. and maybe sweats,ā¦.on the coolest nights, ā¦.and warm soft sox.
So no gifts of all that great wintery stuff.
Itās fun to see what others love to wear tho.

The barefoot dreams throw is awesome – I also have one made by Ugg. However – once I’m under either one of them – I’m not coming off of the couch!

Last year as ‘a gift from the elves’ (for those who grace our table at Xmas) everyone received a pair of Sorel Slippers which were a big hit. (Very similar to Ugg’s but IMO nicer in style with suede uppers/wool ‘n polyester lining/none slip treads/good choice in sizes/well made.) As for myself though not stylish , a number of years ago gifted myself with a heating pad which was recently replaced with the same model as found it very versatile. (Easier to maintain and has convertible usage compared to that of a blanket, etc. i.e.: Sunbeam King Size (12″ x 24″ Express Heat/2 hr. auto shut off.) On that note as to coziness and no doubt revealig my age and that I live in Canada ; it is perfect for warming up your p.j.’s or your bed before you retire…lol! -Brenda-

Oooo such lovely ideas Jennifer thank you ! Love Nordstrom; l was there yesterday and bought a pair of cute PJ Savage flannel pjs with Christmas dogs on them for my daughter in law! I am a really careful shopper and so l get the majority of my gifts at Nordstrom always so l also get the Nordy points building up. A win win! And Iāve used the alteration service two times now and itās so easy to schedule and lām always happy with the results. Happy weekend š

I love thick cozy socks and a soft blanket. I also like to in comfortable clothes like soft joggers and a hoodie.
