Family Love and Gratitude

My Christmas this year, was filled with family and joy. My daughter came for a nice long stay, which was fabulous. Last year  had a huge void with her not here. So this year we made up for lost time.

We saw the San Francisco production of the Nutcracker. I hadn’t been in several years and forgot how much I loved it.

Bad picture, fun time!

The costumes this year were the best I can remember. On stage and off. People watching is a favorite of mine and this audience didn’t disappoint 🙂

I couldn’t help taking this lady’s picture. She looked perfect for S.F.!

While my husband watched “Charlie Brown’s Christmas, (you read that right), my daughter and I made a Gingerbread house for my grandson.

Pounds of sugar and laughter glued this baby together.

My son, daughter-in-law and grandson came to stay for the main event. The gifts were fun but the joy and blessing was having everyone together.

I think the highlight for my grandson was our ride on the Christmas train. Covered with pulsating lights, inside and out, the train ride blew him away.

We took the obligatory Christmas photos to capture the memories.

This was a favorite.

I’m so glad I took the time to unplug from social media and just soak in the joy of spending time with my family. I’m grateful for this special time we got to spend together. And when I’m grateful, I’m happy!Family Love and Gratitude

I hope you had a glorious holiday. I’m grateful for each one of you and thank you for reading!
