15 Best Gifts for Teen Boys from Amazon

Happy Friday, ladies. The weeks seem to be getting shorter and shorter, or is it just me? Teen boys and young men are notoriously hard to buy for. Since my son is in his early 40s and my grandson doesn’t become a teen for 4 more years, Iā€™m totally out of touch with the gifts that teens would like.

We got the inside scoop on this subject from Amy a few years ago, and she’s been gracious enough to help this year too. Amy helps me with lots of things on the back end of this blog and has a teen son plus a young man in college, so she really knows the ropes and the best gifts for teenage boys. Please welcome Amy!

Teen boys are so finicky, and I would say one of the hardest to buy for on my list. I came up with a few good ideas in almost every price range to give your teen something to smile about this season.

Amazon Holiday Gift Ideas for Teen Boys

1. Tabletop Pool Table

Tabletop Pool Table: They’ll have a blast sinking shots on this mini pool table. My husband would like this too, just saying.

12. Burt’s Bee Gift Set

13. Ring Toss Game

14. Tabletop Tennis

Tabletop Tennis: This game gets a ton of use in our house and you don’t need a pingpong table to enjoy it.

15. Hydro Flask Bottle

Hydro Flask Bottle: This will keep their water cold all day long, and it looks cool too. Whew, I knew I had no clue what to get teenagers and young men, but I would have never thought of these. It goes to show that when you’re in the trenches, you know what you need. Thanks, Amy!!

  4. Thank you for these awesome ideas! They will be perfect for our grandson. The car safety kit is a great idea for our granddaughter, who will be driving in December.

    1. It is a really great idea for everyone!

  5. The car safety kit is a wonderful gift for any new driver who owns a vehicle. Another gift we’ve given is a membership to the automobile association here, which can be used whenever the cardholder is out and about, even with friends in their vehicle. Good for all those trips up and down the highway during their university years.

  6. As a (Canadian) Grandmother of teenagers that travel a lot and due to our $ being so low, have resorted to ‘cash gifts in USA funds’. That being said; as I still fill Santa stockings/sacks for them, I totally appreciate this list. So thank you Jennifer and Amy.

  7. This is a comprehensive gift guide for teen/young adult boys. They can be so hard to please that I started giving them money, instead of a gift, after I watched their faces one Christmas. Amy did an excellent job of providing a varied list for the different personalities/interests of boys.

  8. This is the post Iā€™ve been waiting for, thank you! Great gift ideas at affordable prices. Men of all ages are difficult to shop for, but older men at least pretend to like the gifts they receive. Iā€™ll be ordering several of these items.

  9. Thanks for the great ideas for young men and pre-teens.
They are very difficult to buy for and fickle also.
I hate it when their expressions are unfavorable when they open a present from us, the Grandparents.

  10. Great ideas! I sure need help as I have grown sons and 5 grandson’s! Ages 10 to 26.

  11. Some great ideas for my teen granddaughters as well.

  12. Iā€™m ordering the mock Henley sweater. It comes in med tall, which will be perfect for my 6ā€™ 2ā€ son.

  13. Thanks Jennifer and Amy, these are excellent suggestions!

  14. Elle Corey says:

Brilliant list!! Thank you and Amy for putting in the effort to provide us with so many good choices. Immensely helpful.

    1. I could have never come up with this list.šŸ˜„

  15. Great teen/young men ideas!!

    1. Love these ideas. My 6’1″, 14 year old grandson is a sweetheart but he’s definitely harder to shop for than his sister or cousin. Thank you for these suggestions!

      1. Heā€™s a tall fellow. I think my grandson will be tall too.
