Liverpool Los Angeles

Happy Thursday ladies. I am excited to share a new (to me) brand with you that makes modern clothes with a youthful vibe that fit beautifully and are amazingly comfy…which we all know is the name of the game in clothes these days.

Thank you to Liverpool Los Angeles and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.

Today I’ve styled three outfits from Liverpool Los Angeles that could be interchanged to create lots of other combos.

I paired them with this really cuddly bomber jacket and sweater from Liverpool

I’m loving plaid this time of year so I topped the outfit with this Plaid Bomber Jacket in shades of burgundy and black. The website says it’s red, but it appears closer to the burgundy color of my sweater. The fabric has an amazing amount of stretch and it’s very soft. I’m wearing a medium which is perfect over the sweater. If I was wearing it with a blouse or something thinner, I would size down to a small.

WEARING – BUTTON DOWN KNIT BLOUSE c/o  / KELSEY KNIT TROUSER c/0

This super-soft knit blouse is so comfy. In fact, all these clothes are touchably soft. Not a scratchy fiber to be felt! It has a wide rib which makes it skim the body with the feel of a sweater. As with everything I’ve tried, it has spandex for stretch. Available in ivory top and plaid pants on jennifer of a well styled life I’m wearing a medium that fits perfectly so I would not size down in this one. Here they are with the burgundy sweater. There is no burgundy in the pants, but I love how they look together.

WEARING / BOYFRIEND BLAZER WITH PRINCESS DART KNIT  c/0 / BUTTON BACK SHIRT c/o – ABBY SKINNY HI-RISE JEANS WITH NOVELTY TRIM c/o

As with the pants, this plaid blazer is a knit with plenty of stretch. This type of fabric moves when you do so it’s very easy to wear. I’m wearing a medium which fits true to size. Boyfriend blazers are meant to be slightly oversized but you could easily size down for a more streamlined fit because it has lots of spandex in the fabric.

These are the Abby Hi-Rise Jeans with Novelty Trim down the side like a tuxedo stripe. It’s a subtle touch of bling that feels festive without being over the top. I love these stripes on the side of jeans and find them very slimming. I’m wearing an 8 which has lots of spandex and feels so good on!

Liverpool Los Angeles prides itself on consistently delivering premium denim with a  superior fit, along with fashion-forward clothes that feel amazing. Their passion is creating relatable fashion that makes you feel confident every day. They design clothes for men and women with sizes ranging from petite to plus, all at an exceptional value.

Thanks for reading ladies and supporting the brands that support A Well Styled Life. Remember to wear what makes you feel confident!

  1. You looked great in all of the outfits, but my favorite was the first one with the bomber jacket. Seems like a nice clothing line.
Just wish the jeans and trousers came in “tall”.

  2. Love all the looks but the first was my very favorite! You can really wear a boyfriend style blazer, and I love you in that color! Love how you accessorized it with the rhinestone pins too. I need to copy that double pin idea ….love it!!

What a great brand. I liked everything you wore and you wear it well. The bomber jacket really caught my eye.

  4. The burgundy sweater with the bomber jacket and jeans looks fresh and happy on you. If an outfit says happy it’s this one. I’ve been reading your blogs for a while now and I like that you have less black pants with predictable top looks, it makes me smile when I see a brighter you and inspires me to wear what I like not what’s expected. 😊

    1. Thank you, Jane:) We could all use some “happy” garments these days.

  5. I’m going to double down on the burgundy sweater and the plaid trousers! Oh, and a big “yes” on that bomber jacket. These were all great looks on you and I’m kinda thinking that a lot of us ladies out here could pull off a similar look too! You plant the seed now we just need to see if we can make it grow.
You keep us thinking and dreaming a bit too!

    1. I think we can! That’s why I was so excited to share this brand with you.

Love this post — and I especially like your outfit with the plaid pants and burgundy sweater. That’s a true winner!

I love the mix of plaid with burgundy — it’s so perfect for this type of year.

Thanks for introducing us to this brand!

  7. I love them all but I do wish the bomber jacket came in something in the brown range. I love bomber jackets but never saw one in plaid. I love the casual look of an untucked shirt with a jacket. I’m not into the tucked shirt thing. Your coloring is so beautiful. You look good in any color.

    1. You are so kind, thanks, Eve. Tucking is not everyone’s cup of tea and during the holidays…much less popular with me too:)

  8. I am short and plus size. I can NEVER find jeans that work! I was in Canada last year, shopping at Hudson Bay. That was the first time I saw Liverpool LA. I bought a pair of jeans by them and never looked back! I love them.

    1. That’s great to hear. I have a lot of Canadian readers who love to shop at Hudson Bay! I love to shop there when I’m in Canada too.

  9. Judith Turner says:

Please tell us more about that black fur (?) brooch you wear with the white shirt. It’s so hard to find a brooch for a lightweight shirt that won’t seem to be pulling it down.

    1. It is an old favorite from Chico’s. I’ve had it for years and never found anything quite like it. I will keep my eyes open for similar.

  10. Sarah Cliffe says:

I love everything except the bomber jacket. IMHO not classy enough for your classy self. Happy Christmas x

  11. Yes, l like your takes and the items look very easy wear, chic. Being 6’2″ jackets are an issue 4 me and l see ideas you’ve shown 2 make it work!
    Thank you.

    1. I love to wear a shorter jacket over a longer top. Have a great day!

  12. There are quite a few items that I would wear from this new to us line.
That bias cut skirt looks like something that I would get a lot of wear out of. Things always look better on a real person so thanks for the fashion show.

    1. Exactly. After I found the great fabric and fit, I started going back through their site and found so many great pieces. That skirt looks fabulous.

  13. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this brand Jennifer. Your blog is my favorite, first thing I read upon rising.
You encourage me to look my best.
    Have a great day!

  14. Gotta say I really like this Liverpool LA brand. Very hip and young! Love the burgundy sweater. Living in the northwest sweaters are a must!

    1. Yes! That’s what I felt too, Rose. I love the feel and look.

  15. Jennifer, you look casual and cool in these outfits. That bomber jacket is the best! Enjoy wearing these new clothes.

  16. Nicely done! May I ask why all the pop up adds lately? A couple of other bloggers were having this trouble and have since corrected the silly problem! Thanks

    1. It’s that time of year and merchants are all using more ads.

  17. Linda R Gaertner says:

I liked all the combinations you styled here today. They do look very comfy and yet refined.

  18. Pamela Over 50 Feeling 40 says:

I agree with you, Jennifer! These are great looks!!

  19. New(ish) reader, 1st time commentator. The burgundy with bomber jacket outfit is one of my favorites that I’ve seen you in. Will definitely be checking out this brand. Thanks for the introduction
