Happy Wednesday ladies. I hope you’re staying well and doing all you can to keep your spirits up and your stress levels down. I know I could use a diversion so I thought it would be fun to talk about a mannequin today. I spotted this display last week and was intrigued. I took several pictures then I moved in to examine it more closely.
Then I got nosey and started “frisking” this “gal” to examine what I was really seeing. I know from experience that merchandise displays are often put together with disparate pieces that are manipulated to get the look they’re going for. I’ve often discovered that the blouse I was admiring is actually a dress.
I’d love to know if you’d wear this look as is and what parts of it you might need to change to make it work for your shape and lifestyle.
I discovered this is the blouse under the sweater. It has elbow-length sleeves with a slight gather and button cuff.
So what do you think? Is this a look you would wear?
Please share your stying ideas so we can all get inspired.
Merchants are having more and more midweek sales so here are a few I’ve perused:
Ulta is having their Love Your Skin Event with 50% off must-haves with special beauty steals each day. Beauty steals are 50% off for one day and one day only so you need to find what you love, then pounce on the right day.
It has just enough warmth for chilly days and is perfect for walks because it keeps my chest and neck warm but I don’t overheat! It comes in a slew of other colors in petite, misses, plus, and petite plus. I wore it Saturday to play Bocce on a very cold day and it kept me toasty warm.
Loft is having a sale that I have been hovering over. This classic Camel Coat finally got marked down 50% off with the code FUN and I pounced. I’ve tried it on in the store and know it runs large so I ordered the regular small which I know fits me. Camel may not be my most flattering color but I know I can make it work for me. Stay tuned to see how I wear it.
Don’t forget to share your styling ideas for this mannequin so we can all get inspired.
Thanks for reading and remember to wear what makes you feel confident.
