My Latest Amazon Beauty Finds: June 2023

As many of you know, Amazon is one of my favorite retailers. Besides their large (and always growing) selection of personal care items, home care supplies, and fashion finds, I love their speedy shipping and appreciate their subscription features. I enjoy finding new things that are highly rated and like to see if they live up to the hype. Here are a few of my latest purchases and things I’m also curious about.

If you love Amazon as much as I do (I hate to admit that!), here are some of my favorite Amazon products rounded up in different blog posts I’ve written:

June Amazon Beauty Finds

Small Safety Facial Hair Scissors

How fun is it that I now need special scissors for the hair in my nose? I’m betting I am not alone here, so I thought I thought I would share the ones that I bought last week.

Silk Sleep Mask

My eye doctor is wondering if I don’t close my eyes tightly at night because, with all I’m doing to treat them, I still wake up with burning eyes. She suggested I try a mask, and I ordered this one. I’m not sure I can sleep in it, but I’m sure going to give it the old college try.

Dr. Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution

Amazon Beauty Finds Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Soak

Sore muscles and achy joints are, unfortunately, a common complaint amongst many of us as we age. An Epsom salt bath is a great way to soothe the discomfort. This soak also has lavender essential oils added to aid in relaxation and a restful night’s sleep. This has 4.8 stars and 5.5K reviews which says a lot for it.

Clean Skin Club Bamboo Clean Towels XL

Recent Amazon Beauty Find Clean Skin Club

I really dislike ruining my washcloths with black mascara and eyeliner. When I saw these biodegradable facial cloths, I thought they were genius. They’re 100% biodegradable, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly (made from 100% bamboo fibers.)

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

Recent Amazon Beauty Find First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair

It can be easy during the warmer months to forget how much moisture your skin actually needs. I’ve heard amazing reviews of this repair cream, especially if you have dry skin, and it can be used everywhere on your body and face. If you’re on the fence, be sure to check out the reviews the way I do. These ones seem to speak for themselves!

Ella + Mila Soy Polish Remover

Recent Amazon Beauty Find Ella and Mila Soy Polish Remover

When I was researching for my pedicure post recently, I came across this soy polish remover. It is formulated without any harsh alcohol or acetone, which can make your skin and cuticles dry. I love that it’s also cruelty-free!

Facial Steamer

Recent Amazon Beauty Find Facial Steamer

I see so many people using a facial steamer these days. I think one of the draws is that you can get the benefits of a facial without having to step into a spa or salon. It’s wonderful for opening your pores so that your skincare products can work more effectively. There are a lot of options out there, but this is the one I’ve seen recommended the most often.

Ecotools Makeup Brush and Sponge Shampoo

I saw someone share this on their Instagram Stories and have it added to my cart. I try to keep mine really clean, but having a special cleanser will encourage me to do it every week. My rosacea needs no help to be inflamed, so clean brushes are really important.

Makeup Brush Cleaning Mat

If you buy the makeup brush shampoo above, it’s probably worth it to add this rinsing pad to your cart as well. It helps ensure you get all the products out of your brushes.

Shark HD430 Flexstyle Air Styling and Drying System

Have you heard of the Dyson Airwrap? There’s a lot of hype right now about the Shark Air Styling and Drying System, and I am intrigued to see how it compares to the much more expensive Dyson version. It’s still expensive, but I may have to get it for research purposes.

Sun Rescue After Sun Rehydrating Spray

Recent Amazon Beauty Find A Well Styled Life Sun Rescue Spray

With the arrival of summer, I know that many will be visiting pools/lakes/beaches, spending more time outside gardening, etc. This misting spray contains hyaluronic acid and gets great reviews for helping restore moisture to your dehydrated skin.

Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes

These award-winning, individually-wrapped natural face wipes clean, exfoliate, soothe, and hydrateĀ your skin with a built-in AHA/BHA exfoliating complex. They’re natural bamboo facial wipes that are free of nasty chemicals and biodegradable. They’re perfect to bring with you to the gym, when you travel, or just on hot days.

Neutrogena isnā€™t cruelty free I donā€™t believe. Many of their products look so tempting too but I have to pass. Cruelty Free Kitty is really up to date on who is and who isnā€™t cruelty free. I enjoyed your post very much.

    1. I check with Cruelty-free Kitty too. If I ask google a query about a brand, they always come up.

  2. Mary Frances says:

Kind of scary to read the comment above about having your Amazon account removed for returning too much. Yikes! About the sleeping mask…..it will be very disconcerting if you cannot move your eyes without feeling the mask. I have a molded mask which hits my face all around my eyes, but not right on my eyes, so I can’t feel it when my eyes move. It’s very lightweight. I think it came from LLBean but I’ve had it for several years. If yours doesn’t work out, try to find a molded one before you give up on the mask.

    1. That freaked me out too. I return a lot to Amazon. I like the sound of your mask and it makes total sense.

  3. Nice list, Jennifer. I have the makeup brush cleaner disc and it’s good! When I look at the reviews on Amazon, I add the 5-star and 4-star numbers to judge by. Lots of people have a little complaint on just about everything! If it’s close to 90 or above I’ll take a chance.

    1. I totally agree about reviews. Some people complain about everything.

  4. Thanks for the comment on nasal hair.I now have to trim mine, it seems to grow very fast. I was a bit embarrassed by it . It’s nice to know that I’m not alone. šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜³

    1. You are certainly not alone, Robyn. Itā€™s one of the privileges of growing older and wiser.

  5. Iā€™ve been using Ella + Mila remover for a long time and I love it. It does take a bit longer to remove polish but itā€™s worth what tiny bit of extra time it takes. No dry nails or cuticles! For those who want it right away, Target carries it. It also comes in travel friendly individual wipes.

  6. Ultra Repair Cream has been my go to for years. I use it as body cream, especially in the winter, and on my hands nightly. Moisturizing but not greasy or sticky. It’s not scented and I have found it as a Today’s Special Value on QVC.

    1. Thanks for letting me know.

  7. “I spy my little eye’ on some possible Xmas stocking stuffers, so thank you Jennifer. i.e.: The Makeup Brush mat and cleanser. -Brenda-

    1. Agreed! You are so organized, Brenda!!

  8. Let us know if you do purchase the Shark hair system for research!

  9. Dear Jennifer, this was a fabulous post. I saw so many good things to put in my cart; thank you for all the helpful recommendations. I was reading earlier this week about people who returned too much and had their Amazon accounts canceled! I was relieved that I rarely return anything, because I cannot fathom life without it. Iā€™m sure that sounds awful to say, but I really use it all the time. These products look great; thanks again and have a great weekend!

    1. That’s a scary thought! I rely on Amazon for so many things.

  10. I love the Ultra Repair Cream from First Aid Beauty for my seriously dry skin, and bought it for my pregnant daughter-in-law to use on pregnancy stretch marks. The you tube dermatologists I watch always have it in their top recommendations. Readers who get hooked like I am should know that on Black Friday Ulta always carries a 12 oz size for $19 (vs the usual 6 for around $30), and I buy 4-5, stocking up for the year. Sometimes they sell out, so get it early!

  11. My daughter loves her Shark Air Dry System. I bought hers from the Shark website and you could pick the attachments you wanted in your bundle. I havenā€™t broken down and bought myself one yetā€¦maybe this year.

    1. Thanks for letting me know…I need to try it.

  12. I use the Neutrogena facial wipes. They are 100% plant based and biodegradable. I use them to wipe my makeup off before bed and the bottoms of my feet (a bare foot gal ).
My daughter has the makeup brush removal and mat to clean her brushes. It works really well. So, I get her to clean my brushes for me.

  13. All really great looking products. Good to know, thank you for all your research.

  14. Bio oil has been in my cabinet for years. In the winter months, I will mix a drop of bio oil with my current moisturizer and apply to my face and neck. Another favorite is La Roch-Posay. This triple moisturizer is simply amazing. Fantastic for all over, protective hydration and I also use it on my face. Itā€™s great for my feet and hands too, working it into my cuticles. Also, the very affordable Elf melting, cleansing balm is my go to for gently removing eye makeup.
    Love all your suggestions.

    1. Thank you for sharing these Jan! Iā€™ve seen Bio Oil advertised for years but never tried it.

  15. Pat Patterson says:

Happy Friday šŸ™‚, thanks for introducing natural face products. I have stained my fair share of washcloths with makeup removal products, definitely going to try the bamboo ones.
    Have a lovely weekend, enjoy!

    1. Happy Friday Pat! These look like a great solution.
