Happy Friday ladies! I was in Target for packing tape this week (update soon) and spotted some fun new clothes. Target has added several new lines this year which has really upped their selections. The colors are fresh and the shapes are very wearable.
Me being me, started with black and white.
Their Who What Wear collection had a lot of graphic stripes and checks which looked modern. I loved this gingham shirtdress. I’m not a fan of shirttail hemlines on skirts or dresses so would wear it over leggings or pants. Plus size here. These buckle sandals are amazingly comfortable. They feel secure and stable and have a cushioned footbed.
This modern Trench Coat was too large or it would have come home with me. I love the ribbon belt and matching ties at the sleeve. Plus size here. I think it runs large because I am usually a medium but this swam on me. It also comes in Tan.
Here’s a better look at the polka dot top. I loved how it covered the waistline but wasn’t too long. I tried it on with these pretty pink jeans but sadly, they only had sizes that were painfully small or swam on me. Ever notice that the woman who wears your exact size has cleaned out the stuff you like before you get to the store? #Murphy’sLaw
This white denim jacket is a classic shape and can’t be beaten at $29.99. It’s a cotton and spandex blend which stretches for comfort.
SPRING STYLES AT TARGET
This wrap front tank comes in several nice colors…I loved the classic navy. It’s long enough to cover your waistline without obliterating your shape.
This short sleeved button shirt is a lightweight and classic. I like the olive color white jeans.
This floral top was fresh looking and easy to wear. I see it dressed up or down. It is sleeveless so I was happy to find this coordinating cardigan. This one is 2 sizes too large but you get the idea.
I have to say the prices are simply amazing at Target. These are not investment clothes but perfect for trying a trend, new color or shape and also staples you replace every season.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
