Pedder Bay RV Resort Review

I wouldn’t call us seasoned recreational travelers, but we’ve got a few years of RV travel under our belt. During that time, we’ve overnighted everywhere from a truck stop, to a parking lot, side of the road and campgrounds. Some facilities are total dumps and some are resorts.

If you don’t RV you may not know that some of them are flat out luxurious with multiple pools, recreation hall, golf courses, marina, pool hall, spa, etc, etc.staircase to RV sites at Pedder Bay RV resort on A Well Styled Life

Today I’m sharing an RV Resort we discovered last year, while we were staying at the dump down the street.entrance to Pedder bay RV Resort on A Well Styled Life

It’s called

It has a full-service marina with 240 berths, modern docks, lighting and power, security and marine gas service. It also has a bustling full tackle and bait shop, with good reason. The Strait of Juan de Fuca is one of the key migration routes for all five species of Pacific Salmon so offers great salmon fishing all year, halibut fishing and crabbing.entrance to Pedder Bay Marina on A Well Styled Life

They also have a coffee shop, a licensed snack bar, and local store. I don’t fish or boat but I do enjoy a great view of the water, which the RV section offers in a few of their best sites.view of rv sites from Pedder Bay dock on A Well Styled Life

The facilities in this place are fresh, clean and well thought out. I have to say they also have the fastest, best Wi-Fi connection I have ever had in a campground. And I mean ever.Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled life working at Pedder Bay marina and RV resort

My business requires internet and while we’re traveling, wifi can be hard to find…especially at campgrounds.

Pedder Bay RV Resort is quiet and intelligently designed with cedar trees planted between the campsites for privacy. Many other RV parks do that too but they’re often kind of scraggly and don’t really serve that purpose.

Flower boxes brighten up the laundry facilities which are well located and a necessary evil while camping.

Each site offers 30 and 50 amp power, cable TV and Wi-Fi internet, water and sewer hookups.

Their oceanfront sites have awesome views and three of them have a deck built over the water.

We spent a lot of time relaxing on our deck just watching the boats come and go. We will be back to Pedder RV Resort and hope to stay longer next time.

Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers for Lucy on my last post.

X-rays discovered a large tumor in her chest which they believed had spread to her lymph nodes. She was not improving with oxygen and she would not recover. We couldn’t have her suffer through surgeries or other invasive procedures. At 14 1/2, she deserved to be pain-free and at peace so we had to put her to sleep. Our hearts are broken and we miss her terribly. She was a trouper, great friend, and loved everyone. I will look for her often in the places she used to sit by me and will always remember how very sweet she was.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.
