Pedder Bay RV Resort Review

I wouldnā€™t call us seasoned recreational travelers, but weā€™ve got a few years of RV travel under our belt. During that time, weā€™ve overnighted everywhere from a truck stop, to a parking lot, side of the road and campgrounds. Some facilities are total dumps and some are resorts.

If you donā€™t RV you may not know that some of them are flat out luxurious with multiple pools, recreation hall, golf courses, marina, pool hall, spa, etc, etc.staircase to RV sites at Pedder Bay RV resort on A Well Styled Life

Today Iā€™m sharing an RV Resort we discovered last year, while we were staying at the dump down the street.entrance to Pedder bay RV Resort on A Well Styled Life

Itā€™s called

It has a full-service marina with 240 berths, modern docks, lighting and power, security and marine gas service. It also has a bustling full tackle and bait shop, with good reason. The Strait of Juan de Fuca is one of the key migration routes for all five species of Pacific Salmon so offers great salmon fishing all year, halibut fishing and crabbing.entrance to Pedder Bay Marina on A Well Styled Life

They also have a coffee shop, a licensed snack bar, and local store. I don’t fish or boat but I do enjoy a great view of the water, which the RV section offers in a few of their best sites.view of rv sites from Pedder Bay dock on A Well Styled Life

The facilities in this place are fresh, clean and well thought out. I have to say they also have the fastest, best Wi-Fi connection I have ever had in a campground. And I mean ever.Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled life working at Pedder Bay marina and RV resort

My business requires internet and while we’re traveling, wifi can be hard to find…especially at campgrounds.

Pedder Bay RV Resort is quiet and intelligently designed with cedar trees planted between the campsites for privacy. Many other RV parks do that too but they’re often kind of scraggly and donā€™t really serve that purpose.

Flower boxes brighten up the laundry facilities which are well located and a necessary evil while camping.

Each site offers 30 and 50 amp power, cable TV and Wi-Fi internet, water and sewer hookups.

Their oceanfront sites have awesome views and three of them have a deck built over the water.

We spent a lot of time relaxing on our deck just watching the boats come and go. We will be back to Pedder RV Resort and hope to stay longer next time.

Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers for Lucy on my last post.

X-rays discovered a large tumor in her chest which they believed had spread to her lymph nodes. She was not improving with oxygen and she would not recover. We couldn’t have her suffer through surgeries or other invasive procedures. At 14 1/2, she deserved to be pain-free and at peace so we had to put her to sleep. Our hearts are broken and we miss her terribly. She was a trouper, great friend, and loved everyone. I will look for her often in the places she used to sit by me and will always remember how very sweet she was.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

So very sorry for your loss! We went through this 2 years ago on Thanksgiving Day and we still miss our sweet Max- as you know, our pets give us unconditional love and always welcome us home no matter the amount of time we are away. It is so sad and especially so when you are far from home to have to let her go. May you seek comfort from all the beautiful moments you all shared. ā¤ļøā¤ļø

  15. Iā€™m so sorry about Lucy! While no time would be good for something like this, itā€™s incredibly sad that you had to deal with it during your trip.

On a lighter note, I love how you share about your RV travels. Youā€™re the only blogger I follow who does this, & itā€™s particularly sweet to me because it invokes happy memories of my grandparents. They traveled in a ā€œmotor home ā€œ all over the US & loved it so! Any free time they had, they were off. I had a few adventures myself with them & am thankful for our time together. Safe & happy travels to you.

  19. Jennifer, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Lucy. Saying goodbye to a fur baby is one of the hardest things ever.
This looks like a beautiful RV Resort. While I no longer have an RV, my husband and I Had one for our family for over 35 years. We found many nice places and many dumps. As a widow, I continue to tent camp with my two youngest sons. Each of my married children have a travel trailer for their families, but Iā€™ve only joined them once.

  20. So sorry that sweet Lucy is gone. Wishing some peace and quiet so you have time to think of her.

  23. I am so very sorry to read of your loss of Lucy!!!!

Thank you for posting about your RV trip. My husband and I both love reading anything you post about rving. Pedder Bay RV Resort is now on our list to visit. We are camping at Morro Bay State Park Campground. It is very beautiful, spacious, and overlooks the estuary, but while there are electric and water hookups, there isn’t sewer so we have to shower at the very old and rustic campground showers and wash dishes using as little water as possible. The RV resorts along the coast are very crowded and sites are crammed together with no privacy so we camp at the state parks without amenities when we are here. We are looking forward to camping at Pedder Bay! And we are praying for comfort for you and your husband.

  26. As a fellow dog lover, I am so saddened by this news. Thank heavens we have the ability to end their suffering, but then yours just begins. I have shed many tears over the loss of a beloved pet. It never gets any easier. Just know that you gave her the best life a pup could have. You loved her well.
