Technical Issues & A Breath of Spring
Hi ladies! Remember those labels that advise there are not user serviceable parts inside, so please contact professional and authorized personnel? I need one for my email delivery service. I like to think I’m technically savvy until issues pop up that prove I’m in over my head. This post was supposed to go out yesterday but got stuck in my outbox and my attempt to fix it was a disaster..note to self, hire a professional:)
After a gloomy week and torrential rains, the sun finally came out. I know our winters are nothing to complain about compared to the ones many of you get, I am so ready for warm weather. The second we saw the sun I grabbed a straw bag and mules so we could get some photos before it started pouring again.

I adored this top when I spotted it online but I like it much more in person. This is the Darcy Top by Side Stitch.
The rayon fabric is gloriously soft and feels like silk. Its blue and turquoise dots remind me of an ethereal impressionist painting. I chose pearl jewelry to keep the soft look going.
The 3/4 bell sleeves are short enough to stay out of the salad bar and showcase bracelets. It dips longer in back to cover what I like covered and ties in the front.
It’s a slightly oversized style so I suggest sizing down. For reference, I am wearing a small.
This will be great in the warm weather because rayon breathes and has a lightness that prevents it from sticking to your body. Expect to see me styling this often when the weather warms up!

My blog got a virus a couple months ago and I couldn’t even log into wordpress and felt so helpless for a couple hours before getting it fixed. I’m glad you got it figured out and I saw your post about moving and congrats!! So exciting you’re close to your grandson too in the new location.

Flowers the first week of March! I’m so envious! I was out snowshoeing on fresh powder this afternoon. This is the winter that seems to be going on forever, so yes, I am definitely feeling ready for spring.

I empathise with you re your technical difficulties as I would persist and try to sort things out myself.I don’t like to give in easily.Glad you got it all fixed.
I would like to know how to properly lauder clothes with rayon in them. It seems that the fabric is wonderful until I wash it then they always shrink or go out of shape.
I hand wash rayon in cool water and hang to dry. The label usually says machine wash but I think that’s hard on the fabric.
