Spring In Full Swing

Happy Friday ladies. I know many of you are still dealing with cold and nasty weather but you can rest assured that summer has not been canceled. In fact, Victoria Emerson is having her Bye Bye Spring sale!

I’ve shared this brand with you many times because they add a fun sparkle to any casual look, are perfect for travel and the prices are amazing. From now through May 17 you can save 40% off everything in her store with the code SPRING40. It’s a great time to stock up for yourself or to give as gifts plus she now has gift boxes so you’re all set to give!

We hit the nursery for some summer flowers this week. Everyone had a mask on which feels reassuring to me.boho bracelet at plant store

I added a neck scarf, and this Albany Boho Cuff c/o which is a combo of crystal beads, white howlite, white pine discs, baguette-cut crystals, and the surprise of a plaid print strap. Her Boho Cuff style is my very favorite because their magnetic closure makes it easy to put on and take off.

The following day I wore blue, blue and more blue.

Double denim in shades that almost match (horrors), another neck scarf, and Victoria Emersons pretty Freshwater Pearls on Royal Blue Wrap.

I’m crazy about pearl everything and Victoria Emerson strings them on unique and gorgeous colors to coordinate with everything.

I also wore the Crystal on Navy wrap which adds a casual sparkle to denim.

Thank you for supporting the brands that support AWSL and thanks for reading. Remember to wear what makes you feel confident.

Thanks to Victoria Emerson for partnering on this post.

I wanted to let you know about Victoria Emerson’s latest sale. Starting today she is offering 40% off with the code SPRING40.

These are the perfect pieces to pack when you travel. They add a touch of sparkle to every outfit.

I love all the jewelry but the thing that caught my eye was the color of the tank in the first pic. Pink dune….that is such a great color.

It’s one of my favorites too

My wrists are super small. I’ve loved her bracelets but was afraid that they would be too big. Thoughts?

Mine are large. The wraps have a selection of loops to button through so I think you’ll be fine.

Wow! You look so cool, cute and chic! Love that outfit on you. You totally rock!

Hopefully this will not be too awkward but what I’m about to mention is important to correct fit, comfort, and looking younger. As I have aged my bust line has gotten lower. Instead of the line being closer to my shoulders the line is now closer to my elbows. Boo. A segment on undergarments would be greatly appreciated.

Not awkward at all. I suggest a professional bra fitting and trying some new styles. They can make all the difference

Jennifer, you are a breath of fresh air! Love the photos. Can you tell me what brand the leopard print shoes are that you are wearing in the photo by the train tracks?

I took your suggestion and ordered a Victoria Emerson bracelet about a year ago. Now I have several and have purchased them as gifts, too. I just love them! Very versatile. Thanks for steering me in that direction!!!

Do your jeans have a frayed cuff?

      They do. A small one

It is from Everlane last fall. Hopefully they’ll bring it back next fall.

I too love how you updated the jean look. The scarf, the gorgeous bracelets are just the right touch! Enjoy the weekend!

I love the magnetic bracelets. I have one problem though—the magnets keep coming loose and the bracelets fall off of my wrist.
Am I doing something wrong? Love your website.

Wow, I have not had that problem. Other than making sure they are lapped over properly, I would email them to check. I actually find the magnet hard to separate so perhaps they’re not closed correctly? One side overlaps the other.

Just look how you elevated a casual denim style to a new level by adding beautiful wrist art and a soft scarf! The power of accessories!
I don’t own any of her pieces …yet. This is an affordable purchase that would coordinate with so many of my favorite spring/summer looks. How fun is that?!
Have a great weekend. We are finally seeing some warmer temps, time to get some flowers planted.

They’re so affordable and the color combos are so fun. It’s easy to experiment with new ones. Have fun! We have several to plant this weekend.

Love her bracelets, and I have several (well, maybe a few more than several haha!) We are hoping that spring is here in the northeast. Hurray!

You’re looking very pretty. I really like your cream sweater that you’re wearing. Can you share the brand?

Thank you. It’s a cotton sweater from Everlane that’s sold out, sadly. I hope they bring it back next year in other colors.

I love those bracelets and I followed the link and was scrolling through and was surprised to see Rochester. I live outside of Rochester. I’m assuming it’s Rochester, NY since there are several others that are named after cities in NY. I even love the colors in that one so may have to order it!. I’m off to explore what else they have.
