Hands down, my favorite “thing” this week was an experience. I hosted a Blab this Tuesday with Pam Lutrell and Susan Street called “Frumpy to Fabulous for Women Over 50…Fashion and Style advice for the Woman Over 50″. You can watch the chat here. Blab beta is television 2.0. The convergence of television with the internet. It’s changing the way people watch television by making it interactive and a two-way medium. Our response has been amazing so we plan to continue with our focus on Women Over 50. Our next Blab will be…
Tuesday March 1, 10 am PST. We hope you’ll subscribe and join us for Self-Care and the Woman Over 50

Oh dear Jennifer – I always kind of squirm whenever I see any blogs about style and beauty and I walk past them with my head down hoping they won’t notice me! 🙂 that is why I rarely comment on those kind of blogs because I feel like a fraud! I used to be very into style and co-ordination when I was younger but now, I am more bag-lady than style-queen. Some days, I get up, throw on my work-out clothes, get so engrossed in a project that I forget the work-out until the afternoon and don’t actually get dressed properly until around 4pm! The other day, I was completely immersed in craft stuff which involved double sided tape and masking tape. I suddenly realised I was going to be late getting my car to the dealership for the yearly MOT so I just grabbed my keys and ran. When I got to there and flung myself down at the desk to sort out the paperwork, I suddenly realised I had bits of paper stuck all over me and PVA glue all over my hands. I sat in the waiting area amongst some very well-dressed glamorous ladies feeling like a complete disgrace. I am in awe of all you lovely well-groomed, elegant women!
Oh Gilly, cut yourself some slack! It sounds like your priorities have just shifted. There’s some simple things you could do so to ensure that won’t happen next time you race out! Email me and we’ll chat!

Fringe in the right hands is fabulous! Fringe vicitm you are NOT 🙂 xo
Hee hee …. I love this series and adore all you ladies! Can’t wait for the next one. My only concern is that every blogger who watches it is thinking “oh dear God, am I the wackadoodle?!”
😉

LOL! My only concern is helping the woman, who wants to build her confidence, through her personal style. No matter what that style is! If she wants to look “whackadoo”! Great, I can teach her how to get that look. So long as she is happy and comfortable, I’m happy. Every woman’s personal style recipe is specific to her and that’s what makes women unique and fabulous! xo
Totally agree! 🙂
