Mid-Week Pop Up Shop

Mid-Week Pop Up Shop

Happy Wednesday ladies. Thank you so much for your positive thoughts and prayers these last few weeks. They have meant the world to me. Our sun is shining and things are looking up so let’s have some fun today!

My friend Pam and I have decided to do a mid-week would you wear it pop up. Mannequins are in short supply for us since we’re still at home so we’ve found other outfit images to share with you.

Tie-dye is everywhere this spring, on shirts, sweaters, skirts, pants, dresses, you name it. This shirtdress combines tie-dye and floral. What do you think? Would you wear this?

How could you style it to work for your lifestyle and body shape?

Remember to keep your comments related to your style so other women don’t get their feelings hurt. We’re not talking about the price, we are talking about the style.

Tie-Dye Dresses

I wanted to share a few sales updates because they change daily.

If you’re wanting to stock up on your perfume, Neiman Marcus (who just declared bankruptcy) is giving 25% off fragrances, skincare, beauty,  plus bath and body. The sale ends today at 10 pm CT.

Sunny days are ahead and to help us be ready,  DSW has 40% off sandals with the code SUNSOUT. I don’t know about you, but I’m really looking forward to the warm weather that calls for sandals:)

The huge Sephora sale is on and it’s always a doozy. I will be back with what I’m stocking up on very soon.

Now let’s go over to Over 50 Feeling 40 and see what outfit Pam is sharing.

Thanks for being here and being part of this amazing community. Be well and remember to wear what makes you feel confident.

I love this! It speaks to my inner Earth Mother/:Flower Child/Hippie (well I’m not sure it’s inner – maybe just me). I probably wouldn’t use the belt but I want the dress!

My first impression is that this dress was too busy and too bright for me. But, the more I look at it, the more I like it. I am 5′ 4″ and not exactly thin, so I’m not sure how this would look on me. But it’s a fun dress and very comfortable looking.

I might try it on just for fun, but I don’t think it’s something I’d wear often enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.

I’d wear it for casual shopping, lunching etc. Love the colors and floral pattern mixed with tie die! I live in a small beach town where this would fell righat home!

There’s the thing! I would probably look “cute” according to family in that dress. I’m 77 and don’t like that expression at my age because it usually means I’m dressing too young. But I love this dress. I like the tie dye with the flowers & I like a shirtwaist but I would need foundation help so don’t wear one. Bottom line is, I like it.

A resounding yes if I had occasion to wear a dress. It would be great for office attire but lm now retired. I’d change the shoes to a wedge. The length is perfect too since I’m tall & the colors work well for a blue eyed, blonde.
BTW I’m very claustrophobic & have been through a good deal of testing myself recently. Found there are now open MRI’s which changed my life. So glad you had a benign diagnosis!

Tie dye is HOT- I ordered a tee in blue and white tie dye from Coldwater Creek- it is on back order til the end of May. The dress is pretty and I can see it for summer parties, but it is too busy for me. I like floral, but not in combination with another pattern. The colors are lovely and flattering to most.
