Happy Sunday, ladies! I hope you’re having a great weekend. Mine has been very productive. We finally bit the bullet and bought a new couch yesterday. We got a screaming deal at an outlet, but more on that when we get it home and I can show pictures. Today I’m sharing my favorite fabric. Do you have one?
Welcome to this week’s Hit Your Style Sweet Spot, my weekly collaboration with Pam from Over 50 Feeling 40.
You’ve hit your Style Sweet Spot when your appearance is sending the message you intend, and you feel confident that you look your best.
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of stretch in my clothes. Most of my woven fabrics have Lycra or spandex built right in. That ensures my clothes move with me, stretch when and where they need to and are comfortable.
Soft knits have long been my favorite for tops, pants, skirts and dresses. Their stretch helps them drape nicely and retain their shape. I prefer soft to stiff, drape over structure and ease over confining.
I mistakenly bought a pair of blue jeans without stretch this summer. They were so uncomfortable I donated them after my second wearing! Life’s too short to wear pants that bind and dig in!
This is how I hit my Style Sweet Spot in stretch for comfort and style. Let’s pop over to see Pam’s favorite fabric.
