Weekend Reading 05.30.26
Welcome to the weekend! I’m not even sure how we got here so fast. In the last 8 days, I’ve been in Bali, Singapore, Toronto, and Vancouver, which is currently having glorious weather.
I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend and some downtime. Our vacation was fabulous, but we were constantly on the go, so I arrived home happy but exhausted!
Bestsellers this week, what you loved:
- This Tommy Bahama dress I wore in Singapore was a big seller again this week. I love the 3/4 sleeves and just enough embroidery to make it look special.
- Many of you were smart enough to buy this traveler tote…I wish I had. The front straps can hold your hat or pool/beach towel, which makes it pretty handy.
- These Talbots cotton/gauze pants were also a big seller this week. I looked for them in the local store, but they were sold out, so online seems the best bet for these.
- My favorite Eby Relief Bra was a huge best seller last week, and I also bought one in shell pink to refresh my lingerie drawer. Yes, I’m a big proponent of nude lingerie, but sometimes you just want pretty colors.
- This fresh-looking striped shirtdress was one of the most popular items ordered last week. I showed it in the regular length, but it also comes in petite, which I’m very tempted by.
- This pull-on maxi skirt was a bestseller again this week and is running low in some colors. It looks like the perfect travel skirt and easy peasy to wear around town.

I really appreciate all your work on presenting these terrific clothing and accessory pieces. I think that Chico’s long skirt looks like a sure winner for me – so versatile for travel. Love that Tommy Bahama raffia bag that holds the sunhat. Very clever.
I’m really enjoying the Eileen Fisher puckered striped linen fabric in the summer heat. It has a nice texture and it does not show any wrinkles. Looking forward to seeing how you find it.
I remember seeing that puckered linen from last summer and think it’s a genius idea.
I have a question: what do you think of Eileen Fisher’s linen pants? I am thinking of buying a pair. how does the linen hold up after washing? is the linen still soft? Just asking because the price is high.
I’m still wearing pairs I bought at least 8+ years ago. They hold up beautifully and are a great weight. They’re soft but not flimsy.
