Would You Wear It 4/3/21

Happy Saturday ladies and welcome to the weekend. It’s time for would you wear it so grab another cup of your favorite coffee or tea and let’s have some fun with fashion.

Each week my friend Pam and I share a mannequin we have photographed and ask for your thoughts. We want to know if you would wear it and why or why not. I love for you to share your styling ideas so we can all get inspired. Please keep your comments personal and avoid sweeping generalities.

I found this mannequin during a cleaning product run to Target yesterday.

Would you wear this look?

How would you change or style it to work for your shape and lifestyle?

Now let’s head over and see what Pam’s mannequin is wearing at Over 50 Feeling 40

Would not wear the top, because to me it feels to young, and the sleeves are to short for my upper arms. Love the shoes, and might wear the jeans. Is there anywhere on this site I could ask a fashion question? Thanks, am a newbie!

That is really cute! I would definitely try it on, but experience tells me that I wouldn’t wear a top with that much detail. Also, those aren’t colors I would wear – I tend to stick to cool, clear colors, as they are the most flattering to my complexion. I like the jeans and the shoes – especially the shoes.

YES!! My favorite look…though I’d wear my fave Birkies instead of these shoes.

Love the top though sleeves are shorter than I like. Child of the 70s, and this feels youthful so if I liked it on my body I’d wear it. Jeans are ok. Boots in my opinion don’t feel right for the top. They say fall/winter to me, where the top says spring/summer; warm chestnut vs cool pinks. Maybe it’s just my phone lol!

The Jeans are nice, not the shoes or the top for me. The top would make me look heavy and is not my style.
I would pair that with a shirt or tee, and a short jean jacket with low heeled shoes.
I have never like boho or peasant tops, they dont look chic. I usually wear plain and not patterned tops for a slim look.

I guess it depends on your definition of “chic.”

    Yes
    I have Bo
Ho moments. I would wear with a light weight Jean jacket and probably a skirt maxi. Great beach look.
