Happy Saturday ladies and welcome to the weekend. Vanessa and I have escaped to Vancouver Island to visit with family and just chill. The weather is perfect so we plan to rent some kayaks, walk the beaches and totally decompress. I am so ready! Today I have a seersucker suit for your pleasure:)
It’s time for would you wear it so grab another cup of your favorite coffee or tea and let’s have some fun. Each Saturday my friend Pam and I share a mannequin we’ve photographed at random, and ask if you would wear what it’s modeling.
I also love to have you share how you would wear the look. The comment section gives many of us inspiration so please share your styling ideas but remember to keep them personal to you.
So tell me, would you wear this seersucker suit?
How could you style it to work for your lifestyle and shape?

It is probably too preppy a look for my lifestyle but I m sure it would look darling on someone that it suits. I agree with one of your other readers though. Even if I did wear it I don’t think I would wear them together. A little too matchy. Always love these posts!!
Love seersucker and have since childhood. It’s a cool fabric for the hot, humid southern U.S.
As an adult, I owned and loved a Talbots blue and white seersucker pants suit. I wore it with a sleeveless hot pink linen blouse, hot pink sling-back kitten heels, and a multi colored silk scarf. It was a favorite work outfit. Still have the blazer, 30 years later. 🙂
I have these pants, so yes, I would wear it. I would save the jacket for a cool evening or a dinner date. I got rid of most of my blazers because they feel restrictive but I do wear them occasionally. I would wear white, jeweled sandals or navy espadrilles with the pants. A solid navy tank top or T-shirt would work better for me than a white blouse. I wouldn’t wear the graphic tee; I think that look is better suited to my daughter’s generation.
Love a good seersucker jacket. I would wear this in the spring and early summer. It’s too late for seersucker now…surprised to see it on a mannequin. Would take a pass on the pants. Too matcha matcha for me. A good pair of jeans or white shorts would work for me.
Hmmm……you are renting kayaks. Make sure you practice your wet exit and re-entry before you paddle anywhere and wear your PFD…..don’t want any accidents.
And the seersucker jacket seems more like July to me over a white linen dress to keep warm in the evening or in a chilly restaurant
I like this and would wear both pieces, but probably not together. It’s a summery look for me. I hope the smoke isn’t bothering you too much here on the Island. The light is so odd and I’m so sorry for all the fires south of the border.
I haven’t worn seersucker since the pink dress my mother made for me to wear to my elementary school “graduation”! Though the jacket might look nice with jeans and a white t-shirt, the suit is not something I’d wear. I’m surprised to see it paired with that grey graphic tee. It certainly doesn’t do anything to add appeal!
I would separate them but I like seersucker in the summer. I have the pants already but wear with white peasant blouse or navy tee shirt. The jacket I’d wear over a navy column. I like graphic tee shirts but more colorful and fun. Like Dressedformydays tee with the lady walking her poodle. That’s cute. Can’t wait yo see how you would style these pieces.
