Would You Wear It- Printed Silk Poncho?

Happy Saturday ladies. It’s time for would you wear it so grab a cup of your favorite coffee or tea and let’s have some fun with fashion. Each Saturday my friend Pam and I share a mannequin we’ve spotted and ask if you’d wear what it’s modeling.

I like to also have you share how you would style it yourself. It’s fun to inspire and get inspired by other ideas, so please explain how this could work for you.

These jeggings are a refreshing change…they’re a pull-on style but have a straight leg so they’re not too snug. The silk poncho is what you see:)

So what are your thoughts? How would you style it?

What kind of accessories and jewelry would you wear and why>

  1. Welcome back to Vancouver. You’ll get to wear your fall wardrobe in the coming weeks and rain garb too.
I have looked after a grand-dog myself a few times. A Lab called Sam. Loved it.

  2. I would maybe wear it over a swimsuit at the beach. Generally though I don’t like ponchos, I think they make me look big and bulky. I do love that material though and would love it as a scarf

  3. Typical outfit popular here in Florida among retirees. This is the look I DON’T want.I am a 74 y.o. grandmother but I do not want to look like one!

  4. The first thing that popped into my head on seeing that top was Mrs. Roper, so I had to smile when I saw that someone else had the same thought. It just looks like something an “older lady” would wear, and I’m 72 myself. Also it strikes me as something a person would wear to cover up unwanted weight gain. I wear ponchos as outerwear, but this type of poncho wouldn’t make it into my closet. I would definitely wear the pull on jeggings with another top.
