Would You Wear It: Sweet Cargo

Would You Wear It: Sweet Cargo

Happy Saturday ladies. Based on the week we’ve all had, I’d say it’s time for some fun. It’s time for would you wear it with my friend Pam. Each week we share a mannequin we’ve found and ask if you would wear what it’s wearing. My mannequin this week is from last month so she’s wearing clothes I can’t find links for.

I love to hear how you would style the outfit, either together or separately to fit your lifestyle and shape. Remember to keep your comments personal to you so no one gets their feelings hurt.

So what do you think? Could and would you wear this look?

Are the colors flattering for you?

Here are a few sale updates:

Nordstrom – spring sale up to 40% off. I’m a huge fan of these Longchamp totes and they have a gorgeous new crop of colors for spring, all on sale. I saw this expandable tote at the outlet in January and thought it was genius. It’s now on sale for less than they had it at the outlet.

Ann Taylor – 40-60% off online only, duh, with the code HELLOSPRING. The sale ends today! They have lots of pretty spring colors and if gingham is your thing, they have you covered.

Chicos – 40% off 3 or more items with code 72240, 30% off 2 items with code 56714 or 25% off one item with code 69726.

Loft – 40% off your purchase with code COMFY.

Talbots – 40% off your purchase.

For my personal color palette I find the outfit boring.
I’d choose a crop pant from all of those yummy colored clothing in the background, add a white cotton tee, a white denim jacket. Alternatively a dark jean jacket would work with the bright pant, but I’d add a colored scatter pin or two or three. I’ve found that a pant made from a heavy fabric needs to have for balance, a similar weight top.
I’m an artist liking a more interesting look.

I would not wear this. I don’t wear cargo pants. The top looks like a maternity top-wouldn’t wear. I like the jeans jacket, but would wear it with leggings.
On the whole, not a look in would wear b

Oh yes, I like the whole outfit together. I love the v beck, the fabric, the color if the top and pockets on pants just suit me because I do crafts and I’m a,ways finding things to use and no pockets drives me crazy. I love the jacket. It’s just something I would throw on for my scavenger outings or to the thrifts, goodwill, even grocery because I’m from a small coastal town so you see all types of clothing there. If you wear a shirt and shoes, no problem. : )

That’s funny and so true of small coastal towns

I actually like the color combination, but don’t care for the style of the pants. I’d substitute a simple olive green skinny crop pant in denim. I would prefer the blouse in elbow length sleeves, but I like the pretty print. I’m just not a fan of longer shirt sleeves hanging out from a jacket. I just received an outfit in similar colors that I had ordered online a couple of days ago–a pair of skinny green jeans with a little stretch to flatter and a peach colored tee with a floral pattern. I thought they looked great together and were a welcome addition to my spring outfits.

I really like this outfit except the elastic bottom cropped pants. A denim jacket is a staple in my wardrobe. The blouse is very pretty & feminine but would wear it tucked in or with a longer jacket, as I am not a fan of the short jacket long shirt look. It looks messy to me. I would wear a longer pant but like the color.
