Happy Saturday ladies and welcome to the first would you wear it of 2021. Fresh starts are always appealing to me. I have several new things planned for this space in the coming months..technology willing:)
Now for some fun. In case you’re new here, each Saturday, my friend Pam and I share a mannequin we’ve photographed and ask if you would wear what it’s modeling. I love you to also share how you might style it to work for your shape and lifestyle.
So what do you think? Would you wear this dress and why or why not?

I would wear it because the shapes suits my body type. As my coloring is cool I like a different shade for the dress. I’d pair it with mid heeled knee high boots. Also, I’d want it a little shorter on my calf. I like to stick to using third ratios and that would do the trick.
Do love the color and the fact it is a knit, however a ‘no’ due to its crew neck and I find the addition plus the positioning of the sarong-tie odd.
In closing; wishing you and yours A VERY HEALTHY ‘n HAPPY NEW YEAR with continued success in all you do, Jennifer. -Brenda-
On me, unfortunately, this would be a disaster!. I love the colour and the style but the colour doesn’t suit me and the tie on the dress would make the biggest part of me bigger. I would like to try this style of sweater dress without the tie though and in a different colour. I like sheath dresses and usually wear them in summer.
I like sweater dresses on others, but have never worn one myself. There are too few cold weather days where I live. That dress would show off the extra pounds I can’t seem to loose. And I don’t spend that much on a single item of clothing.
I think the dress is pretty, but I also think it is made for a certain body type…which is not mine…lol. Someone tall and thin could absolutely wear, but the knot does present a challenge! The color is also off for me, brunette, with olive skin….that color clashes against my skin tone!
The tie hits at exactly the wrong place for me, adding bulk. I’ll pass.
Love the dress. But I think it is not for me because I am only 5’4” and think it would make me look 👀 very short.
But I would try it on and hope to be surprised that it looked awesome on me.

I love your attitude Lin!
Love the dress – I would need some Spanx help!
Lovely for the right shaped woman, who unfortunately is not me!
If I did not have hips and thighs, I would love it! The lines are graceful, and the color is terrific!
I love the color and the sash but you really need straight posture to pull this off and at my age, I’d be afraid a little back fat would show. If you have the figure for this though, you are blessed. I avoid clingy these days.
This is a lovely dress. I love the colour & see it also comes in charcoal. I think it would look great on my sister who is 5’8 & no hips. I am 5’4, short waisted & curvy Could look great on a new mom with a baby bump.
