Weekend Reading 07.11.26
Happy weekend, ladies. As mentioned in the email, I had an IPL for sun damage on my neck and chest this week, so scarves will be a big part of my outfits for a few days while it heals.
I ordered this cotton gauze top and wide-leg cotton gauze pants from Barefoot Dreams’ new travel collection, and here’s how I wore them. The fabric is light and airy, so they’re perfect for warm weather. I like wearing cropped shirts like this, worn open like a little jacket. My new bucket hat looks more like a boater style on me, which is a fresh look I’m enjoying.

- This Talbots Air Knit Sweater Jacket was very popular this week. It’s on sale in two colors and is a great piece to wear into fall.
- These Rag & Bone “Jeans”, which are made from sweatshirt fabric, were also bestsellers this week. I have the light and the dark wash and love them! They are the comfiest jeans I own, and that’s saying a lot because jeans are my most worn garment.
- This pretty Tommy Bahama dress was a bestseller again this week. It’s such a useful dress that works for many occasions.
- My M.Gemi Rosamaria sneakers were also a reader favorite. I love the comfort of this brand. Paula wrote to let me know, “I started with a pair of silver sneakers at M.Gemi, and now have 4 pairs of sandals/mules/sneaks.  I wanted another pair of the silver because my first pair is getting scuffed ( European trip with cobblestones was rough).  Great company, perfect fit of shoes for me.  They are my new go-to.  Thank you!!!”
- This pretty pearl tennis bracelet was also a bestseller this week. I’ve never seen a pearl one before. This comes in gold or silver and is under $40.
- My Tommy Bahama linen utility jacket is a bestseller again and marked way down. I have it in chambray and black, and wear them a lot.

Nordstrom is gearing up for the big Nsale, which starts next week. I’ll be driving down south to shop it and share some try-ons with you. In the meantime they have lots already on sale.
- This necklace is so unique, it’s sitting in my cart.
- I also have my eye on this Akris bag. I think a colorful handbag would be fun to go with my neutral outfits.
- My favorite New Balance 327 sneakers are part of the Nsale, but you can also buy them at a discount now, in several fun colors here.
- I love these BK beauty brushes which are marked down.
- This Shiatsu Foot Massager with Deep Kneading and Heat sounds right up my alley!!

Rag & Bone has 25% off this weekend! I zeroed right in on these Miramar Ankle Length jeans in the dark wash. My Sofie jean is also on sale. This Slade Bazer has been marked down twice. I have it in navy. This Floral Cutout Denim shirt is really unique. This straight leg Harlow pant is one of their bestsellers. Why have I never noticed it before?
Ruggable has a 25% off sale on some great looking washable rugs. My Zebra rug I love so much is on sale, and I’ve always loved the look of this rug. Here are some others that caught my eye:

Ann Taylor has 40% off your purchase and an extra 60% off sale. This navy beaded crossbody bag is adorable. I love this breezy looking palm tree print scarf.
Eileen Fisher has just dropped their latest collection, which I’ll be looking over soon. But that also means they’ve put more great things on sale! These organic linen jersey tees look fantastic and come in a rainbow of colors.

I finally did it! I bought a Ruggable tufted rug. I got the Calabria in teal, 5×7’ for my family room on the new flooring at the entrance of the room from the garage. It will get a lot of traffic so washable is a great idea. Our pool table has a teal cover and it is the first thing you see in the room. I can’t wait to get rid of my ancient current rug!

The EF sale is a good one and I ordered the denim jean jacket I had been eyeing at a considerable discount.
I have one pair of rag and bone and I think they’re my favorite. So, I’m interested in their sweatshirt jeans. Did you find them to run true to size? Do they stretch, loose their shape?
They do loosen but not too much. I went down a size and they fit perfectly. They’re so comfy!!
Hi Jennifer, I love the Barefoot dreams outfit on you, nicely put-together, yet cool and comfortable! I wanted to share that I bought the Boden Nell Kimono dress in the Navy print in May for a June work/charity event. The style was called Coastal Cocktail Casual (!!) and the location was a outdoors and in a tent by the water. June in Massachusetts can be cool or warm, so I wanted sleeves but a light fabric. The dress worked out perfectly for the warm (80 degree) evening and I felt very elegant in the flowy, light dress. I highly recommend this dress if they still have your size.
