Monday Motivation: Weighing Our Value

We women can be pretty hard on ourselves. And each other.

I came across this video over the weekend. It brought tears of joy, so I wanted to share it with you. It’s long, hang in, it’s worth it.

What do you want to weighed by?

Too often we weigh ourselves by superficial things

[tweetthis remove_twitter_handles=”true” remove_hidden_hashtags=”true” remove_hidden_urls=”true”]Our size or physical beauty does not define our value. Be kind to yourself and remember what’s really important about people.[/tweetthis]

Happy Monday! Pass the love on.

  1. Thank you so much for this today. It arrived just as my spirit needed it. I weigh myself very harshly in the weight department, instead of as gently as I do others. Thank you, thank you.

    1. I’m glad you liked it. It really lifted my spirits too.

  2. Jennifer,
You are the real deal. I so love that about you!

    1. It’s mutual Lynne!

  3. Lovely. Tried to tweet but it had too many characters so your Tweet This rejected it.

    1. Technology is so fun! Thanks Carol.

  4. I really appreciate you sharing this today….weighing myself and keeping on top of my tendency to gain weight and jeopardize my health by increasing the load that my hips and knees bear on a daily basis is just as important to me as the accomplishments of these inspiring women.
Women set the bar high for a reason….we know we can succeed with love and support. No matter what the goal we try and if at first we do not succeed we try try again !
    Have an awe inspiring week!

    1. I’m so glad you liked this too! Have a great week!

  5. A great Monday motivation Jennifer. I loved the video and hope other women are inpsired by it. Thanks!

  6. Jennifer what a poignant video with strong and independent women who believe in themselves and their value! Great value!!

    1. I loved this. I’m glad you did too Karen.

  7. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Weigh what matters, my new mantra. Love when the woman said, “she’s creating her second life” and also when they discover that what matters is not measurable.
I’m not a Jenny Craig fan but this is definitely a meaningful message.

    1. The message really moved me. We can be so hard on ourselves, and other women. I think this is a great mantra!
      Have a great week!
