My Picks for Comfy Shoes at The Private Sale
Happy Wednesday ladies! We are securingĀ our rental home this week then head back home to pack and clear out in the next 7 days. Eek! This is happening fast. I’m excited but also seriously stressed so I did a little retail therapy and feel oh so much better š After ourĀ chat about comfy shoes last week I went on a hunt for options which are on sale and found several familiar ones.
I don’t have a Bloomingdales close enough for me to visit on a regular basis so I shop them online. They’re having a great sale from now until April 30th. I love Gentle Souls for theirĀ quality and comfort so started there. I tried this sandal on in another store and know it to be very comfy. There are a lot of flatformsĀ (flat platforms) around this season. I like theirĀ ability to boost my heightĀ without putting extra pressure on the ball of my foot. This platform espadrilleĀ is quite flat and has a sneaker bottom which provides extra cushion. The footbed in this pair ofĀ sandals features flax seeds in elastic pouches that mirror the sensation of walking on sand plus a memory foam cushion and arch support.

I am a big fan of Eileen Fisher shoes and have sworn by their comfort for years. A large selection of Eileen Fisher shoes are included in this sale. This platform sports sandalĀ is amazingly comfortable. I’ve been wearing this version forĀ years and can’t say enough good things about them. The platform is small and made of a sneaker bottom. The straps hold your foot securely which makes them great for walking long distances.

But my daughter is sixteen, and I’ve recently seen her friends wear shoes like those! Are we finally in a place where the younger generation is opting for comfort too? It’s about time! š

I’ve got to get more serious about cleaning out and down sizing. Things look like they’re lining up for us to move early next year! Why or why did I spend so many years accumulating so much stuff?!!!

I really do need to get going. I cleaned out my cookbooks, and one junk drawer last week, but there’s still so much to get through I feel overwhelmed!
