The Well Loved Edit For June

It’s hard to believe we’re almost at July. Where is the summer running off to?

Every Saturday, I share reader favorites, so today I thought I’d share a few of my own from May. I try a lot of new products each month. Some are fine, some are forgettable, and a few are are keepers worth reaching for again and again. These are the ones I used most often in June.

1 – Farmacy Big Green Clean Cleansing Balm. I fell totally back in love with this and used it almost exclusively. This balm removes every bit of my makeup, including my eye makeup, without needing a double cleanse.

2 – Painless Eby Relief Bra. Nothing new here, you know I love this bra. I’m not well-endowed, but I still do need some support, and this bra gives me just enough while being incredibly comfortable because there’s nothing in its design that can dig in. I’ve stacked all my other bras in the back of my drawer and reach for one of these daily.

It looks larger in the photo than it is. I’m wearing it with my Tennis Bracelet and my Vintage Watch

3 – John Hardy Naga Bracelet. I bought this bracelet in Bali, the day after we went to see the Komodo dragons, and I haven’t taken it off since. Naga is Balinese for “dragon,” a legendary symbol of love, protection, and prosperity. It also reminds me of the Komodo dragons, making it the perfect reminder of our trip. John Hardy founded his brand in Bali back in 1975, and they are still handmade there today.

4 – Cuyana East West System Tote. You’ve seen me carrying this tote a lot. It’s shallower than my Easy Zipper Tote (which I also love), but it seems to hold almost as much and is a better proportion for me. It’s lightweight and has snap-in sections to keep me organized. It does come in other colors, but the blue spoke to me.

5 – My Chico’s No-Iron Shirt. I love white shirts in any shape and form. This month I’ve been reaching for this Chico’s one over all the others because it looks crisper… right out of the dryer. The collar is also stiff enough to stay popped up in the back until some kind soul behind me reaches out and tries to lay it down for me. It has below-elbow sleeves, which I fold over twice because I find it more modern-looking.

6 – Grande Hair Enhancing Serum. Not a new product for me, but one I recommitted to in June. The brand is very careful not to say it helps grow hair, so I’ll say it for them. It does for me. I skipped it while we were traveling last month, which turned out to be a poor choice, because the growth only sticks around as long as you keep using it.

7 – Janessa Leoné Felix Bucket Hat. I’ve been wearing this navy bucket hat constantly this month. It’s the perfect amount of coverage for my nose, and stays on in the wind because the brim slants down. I love this brand and have been wearing it for years, but it’s not in everyones budget so I found some more affordable alternatives below:

What have you been reaching for in June.

    Hello Jennifer
I’m a fan of the Eby bras as well but do you have problems with the inserts moving when washed. Every time I have to put them back in place.

    1. I have that problem with all bras that have inserts. I may take a thread and needle and just tack them down at the top

Hi Jennifer, Wondering if you would confirm please. When I search for Grande Hair enhancing serum using your page , the only response is Mandini Naturals Scalp Stimulator Is this the correct one?
    Thank you.

  7. Hi, Jennifer. It is finally summer in upstate New York, so I have been having fun wearing sandals. (You should see my collection of sandals!) At the moment, my favorite brand is Fly London. In the last week I have worn Fly London sandals nonstop. They are so stylish – and so comfortable too!

    1. I have never tried on Fly London shoes or sandals. I need to check them out. They are very fun looking.
