The Well Loved Edit: May 2026

I share readers’ favorites on Saturday, so I thought it might be fun to turn the lens around and share what I loved most this month.

A few are beauty products, a few are fashion finds, and all of them made it past the “new and interesting” stage and stood out because I kept reaching for them. Here’s the well loved edit for May 2026.

1- Miramar Andi Wide Leg Cotton Terry Pants. These “jeans” have a nice drapey, wide leg that doesn’t drag on the ground, unlike the regular versions. They’re in a 100% cotton terry fabric that looks like denim but feels like your coziest sweatpants. I could have purchased the regular length and had them hemmed, but that leg was too voluminous for my height…even hemmed.

2- No Makeup Makeup Foundation. I’ve been reaching for this powder compact more days than not this month, just to lightly dust over my tinted sunscreen. Less is more with this, which is how I like it most days. It’s also a quick and easy way to conceal the redness from my rosacea before I head to pilates in the am.

3- Thigh Society The Staple. I bought these slip shorts to wear under skirts and dresses on my upcoming trip to prevent thigh chaffing, but have ended up wearing them over my panties under my pants and jeans! They’re soft, comfy, and the waistband doesn’t roll. It’s not a compression-slip short, but they do seem to smooth things out, so I’ll need a few more pairs.

4- Grande Brow Thickening Serum. I’ve got too many empties of this brow thickening serum to count. It’s a cruelty-free brand I’ve been using for years. With consistent use, it really works.

5- Travel Size Pure Rosewater Face Mist. I’ve only had this for two weeks, but in that time, I’ve realized it will become an empty that I repurchase over and over. It’s full of antioxidants for my skin. It contains 100% Rose de Mai, including the entire extract of the petals and all their essential oils, which are rich in antioxidants… and the scent is incredibly soothing. It’s also free of any chemicals, so I feel safe spraying it often and liberally.

6- Lab-Grown Blue Tourmaline Tennis Bracelet. If I’m just wearing earrings, I like to make a statement on my wrist. I often wear a bold cuff, but I also love stacking thin bracelets to make a unique statement that no one else is wearing! The team at Aurate sent me this pretty bracelet, and I adore it! They also sent me a code for my readers, AWSL20, to save 20% sitewide.

7- Perricone MD Cold Plasma + Advanced Hydration Complex. I’ve been using this lightweight moisturizer all month, and it’s a great one. It gives my skin steady hydration without feeling heavy, and it keeps it soft without leaving a greasy finish or making my makeup slide around, which is where many “hardworking” moisturizers lose me.

8- Christophe Robin Instant Volumizing Mist with Rosewater. I love how this spray lifts the roots yet leaves my hair feeling soft. It’s cruelty-free, and because it’s made with rose seed oil, it seems to help with flyaways, without weighing my hair down.

9- Prequel Glycerine Face and Body Cleanser. This is made with 50% glycerin, so it’s very soothing and moisturizing. This was developed by a dermatologist and is allergy tested, non-comedogenic, safe for eczema, and fragrance free…which my husband appreciates in the shower 🙂 It leaves my skin so hydrated that I almost forget to apply body moisturizer.

10- Mother Science Hero Molecular for Pigmentation. I’m faithfully continuing to use this serum on the left side of my cheek and jaw, which has the most sunspots. It’s won several awards and is highly rated, so I’m giving it enough time to work.

I recently bought Josie Maran whipped argan oil body butter in “always nude” (unscented) at Sephora. After showing I apply a thin layer of Queen of the Thrones castor oil followed by this body butter…oh my word does my almost 63 year old skin ever love this combo! It’s absolutely nourishing on ire’s own but I love the healing properties of castor oil. I’m about to go buy another tub. Give it a try!

  2. I started using RevitaBrow for the extreme thinning in my eyebrows (thanks to thyroid disease…) and it was very effective. It took many weeks before I saw effects, but then, with consistent use, it was very good. Switched to GrandeBrow because it was less expensive, but it did not maintain the growth in my eyebrows. So, even though I had quite a few GrandeBrow left that I purchased on sale, I went back to RevitaBrow and again, after many many weeks, I am seeing growth. Interestingly, a friend with complete alopecia (including no eyebrows or lashes) is getting growth with RevitaBrow! That is a game changer!! It is good to remember that there are always individual differences and there may be something out there that helps!

I’m going to try the Mother Science product. Thanks

  9. I’ve been using a rosewater mist for years from Trader Joe’s of all places but it makes my skin feel so refreshing. The one you are using sounds really good. I love your striped tee and beautiful blue tennis bracelet. 🌼

    1. It’s very refreshing and so uplifting!

  10. Great list! Could you please give an inseam measurement for the R and B Andis? It’s not listed in the description. This month I’ve tried a few Morphe eyeshadow palettes from Ulta that I love. Cyber Chrome and Rich Glitch. Finally some cool neutrals!!! $16. Idk if they are clean, but I’m pretty desperate for something that won’t turn orange and for gray that won’t give me a sparkly, smoky eye…

    1. They have a 27” inseam and the leg opening is 25”, so not overpowering. I hope they make them in white! Totally agree, cool gray shadows are so hard to find. Most make me look like I have a black eye. I had some blue Morphe shadows a few years ago and they went on very smoothly!
