Wear It Now, Wear It Later – Getting a Jump on Fall

I love versatile wardrobe pieces that can span the seasons. They’re perfect to wear this time of year when you’re transitioning your wardrobe over because with less hanging in your closet, it’s easier to zero in on what flatters you most.
Today I have another wear it now, wear it later post, in classic shapes at a budget-friendly price point.
Today’s entire outfit is from Walmart. They’ve really stepped up their fashion game this year and offer stylish, on-trend and classic pieces for the whole family.
We’re just weeks away from the official start of fall so I created two looks today. One which nods to fall and one with its espadrilles still firmly planted in summer.
I chose this black and white 
I don’t know about you, but I always prefer polarized lenses because it really cuts down on squinting. These “Heartbreaker” sunglasses are super lightweight. I love how the cat-eye shape frame gives a lift to my features, and the retro round lenses flatter my face shape. I shared how to choose the most flattering frames for your face here.

I’ve visited several of my local Walmart stores this summer and found each one carries a small amount compared to their online selections, so I always end up ordering online. The selections are much broader online and with free shipping to my local store, it’s a no brainer.

Great outfits! Over the past few years, I have found some attractive sweaters at Walmart that have outlasted similar,
higher-priced sweaters from more trendy stores, such as The Loft, that ended up pilling or showing unraveled threads within a few months.

Do love the blouse, Jennifer. I haven’t been to Walmart yet but it is definitely on my ‘To-Do List’. Their line in Canada I think slightly differs, however two summers ago I did purchase two pairs of pull-on capris (with the label Jordache), believe I paid $13.00 Cdn. each in anticipation I’d wear them just around the house doing chores but wish I had purchased more. They not only take little maintenance (toss them in the washer and dryer, no ironing needed) but retain their shape when wearing compared to that of many of my high-end ones. I always seem to have a hard time with turning the cuffs and tying shirts and making them stay put – do you have any secrets?
I tie a double knot. For sleeves, I fiddle until they feel secure. Sometimes you can fold up 6 inches first, then fold the bottom 3 on top of it. That stays well.
I keep saying I want to go to Walmart. Now I have a reason. Love your outfits!

I have noticed a lot of animal skin prints at Walmart this year! I do plan to go try some on soon! The shirt with the black or white jeans looks great! I Even like that purse!
