11 Items from Amazon to Make Your Life Easier

Like many of you, I love shopping at Amazon. I recently shared a list of items that I order from Amazon all the time. They carry many of my favorite beauty products, personal care items, vitamins, and home care supplies. But, on a recent late-night Amazon shopping session, I stumbled across the most random of items and went down the rabbit hole. Today, I am sharing 11 items from Amazon to make your life easier. Let me know if there are any other fun Amazon tools or products that I am missing out on in the comments.

If you’re looking for more helpful Amazon finds, I’m sharing some other posts below:

11 Items from Amazon to Make Your Life Easier

1. Lens and Screen Cleaning Wipes

These individually wrapped pre-moistened wipes will make cleaning your eyeglasses, tablets, and screens a breeze. These aren’t ground-breaking products that I haven’t seen before, but having a stash of these in my purse or car console makes a big difference.

2. Bracelet Fastening Tool

I saw someone share this on Instagram and was shocked I’d never thought of this myself. Bracelets and jewelry clasps can be a headache to fasten, especially if you suffer from arthritic hands or are always having to ask your partner. I like that they can also help in clasping your watch if you need it.

3. Dual Foot Massager

Foot pain is a common complaint I hear amongst my readers, especially if you are dealing with foot ailments like plantar fasciitis. This foot massager roller features 5 rows of 2 different types of acupressure nubs. The arched design mirrors the natural curvature of the feet for increased comfort against any type of foot or heel pain.

4. Car Hooks for Purses and Bags

I loathe having shopping bags and grocery store bags sliding all over my car when I’m driving. These car hooks keep everything organized and out of the floorboard. They come in several different leather colors so that you can match them to your car interior.

5. Bra Strap Clips

I am not a fan of letting your bra straps poke out in the back or at the shoulders. With the warm weather coming, quite a few tank tops and dresses require a racerback bra, but you may not own one. These clever little strap holders are a great solution to help you convert a normal bra into a racerback, and they’re under $10!

6. Micro Stitch Tool

This micro stitch tool is another helpful gadget that you can use to prevent an emergency wardrobe malfunction. The tool’s tiny needle produces a very small tack, allowing you to fix fallen hems, hold bra straps into place, and so much more. I usually keep a tin of my favorite fashion tape on me, but this would be great to keep on hand as well.

7. Shoe Stretcher

I’ve mentioned before that I suffer from bunions. Certain styles of shoes exacerbate this problem by putting pressure or pinching my foot in that area. If you have a pair of shoes in your closet that are causing unneeded pain because they need to be broken in or stretched, these shoe stretching tools are a lifesaver. I’ve used a similar option for years, and they really do work.

8. Clip On Earring Converter

I know that many of my readers don’t have pierced ears or prefer wearing clip-ons. Fortunately, these earring converters allow you to easily change a pair of post earrings into clip ons. This set comes with a silver pair of converters as well as gold.

9. LMNT Electrolyte Drink Mix

I’m always hearing from doctors and others that I need to drink more water, but it can be extremely hard. Some people use Liquid IV, but I find that they have too much sugar for me. A friend of mine uses these little packets to add some flavor and electrolytes to her water. They are formulated with sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Plus, they are made with zero sugar, fillers, or artificial ingredients. This variety pack is a great option to figure out what flavors you like and includes orange, citrus, raspberry, and watermelon.

10. Portable iPhone Charger

I hate being out and about, especially on a long day, and having my phone battery dying. This portable and rechargeable iPhone power bank will come in handy again and again. I’m ordering this for my next trip.

11. Women’s No Show Socks

When I shared my posts on the best sneakers and walking shoes, I got a lot of questions about what socks I wear. Some sneakers have a lower profile around the ankles and require no-show socks. But I’ve found it’s super hard to find ones that actually stay put while you walk. These socks have almost 10,000! positive reviews, so they’re a need to try for me. They come in several different colors and are under $20 for a pack.

What are your favorite Amazon finds?

I’d also love to hear what you’re on the hunt for currently, and I’ll try to see if I can I help you find it.

I bought the phone charger from an earlier post and use it often. It works well and my grandchildren will be getting them for Christmas this year. Thanks for all your ideas

    1. I love that charger! I use it all the time. It’s going in everyones stockings this year.

  2. I have the car hooks in black and love them! Holds purses, shopping bags, sweaters and masks. I was just going to purchase the LMNT electrolyte drops.
I’ve never used the shoe stretchers for my bunions but since they aren’t going away, it would be a better investment then sending new shoes to the shoe mender to do it. That gets costly.

    1. I spray the insides of my shoes with shoe stretch before I use the shoe stretchers. They work well!

  3. Last Xmas as a stocking stuffer (thanks to one of your lists) purchased the Portable I-Phone Charger for all of the Grandchildren who are teenagers and feedback has been positive. As to a more recent Amazon purchase I finally invested in the Watch Repair Tool Kit by Jorest which includes several accessories (@ a mere $14.99 Cdn.) that has already saved me a trip to the Jeweler. (i.e.: On a new watch removed a few links on an extension bracelet. The other to get the back off of one of my dress watches for battery replacement that for all the years I’ve had it, it was impossible to do myself because of its design.)

P.S.: Added the ‘No Show Socks’ to my Amazon Wish List.

    1. That repair kit is a great idea, Brenda

  4. I put the wristbands in my daughter and DILā€™s Easter baskets and saved a set for myself. I love them. Hate when water runs down your arms when washing your face.

    1. Iā€™m ordering some!

  5. I bought the socks in the beige, white, grey and black! I love all of your daily shopping suggestions but my husband bent over my shoulder and said what are you buying today and is that your friend Jennifer? Oh, I just got my Easy Spirit sneakers like yours and I need to return them and order a half size up! In Sketchers I wear a 6 1/2 or 7 in a sneaker so these must run a little small. I hope they still have them!

    1. LOL, oops, your husband must hate me.They should still have them on the main page.

  6. Wow, that drink additive is so high in sodium! For someone without sodium restrictions, thatā€™s almost half your daily allocation in one packet. For those with high BP or congestive heart failure, that amount of sodium could push the person well over their daily limit and potentially cause disastrous health consequences. How about a squeeze or slice of lemon, cucumber or mint in your water instead?

    1. Of course, everyone should check with their Dr, great point. These are not just for taste, they are electrolytes for hydration.

    1. What a great-looking stand! Great idea

  7. Want to recommend this from amazon: the Able Life Auto Cane, Portable Vehicle Support Handle for Easy Sit to Stand Assistance, Car Assist Grab Bar Handle, Daily Mobility Assistive Device for Adults, Seniors, and Elderly for one of my relatives. This is good for anyone having problems getting in and out of a car from an injury, disability, weakness, etc. It’s small and portable, too – so one can bring it on a trip.

  8. Hi Jennifer, thank you….the bracelet fastening tool is in my Amazon cart, maybe now I can wear some favorite bracelets that are almost impossible to fasten by myself….I’m thinking of the phone charger also…..great idea’s….!!

    1. Iā€™m hoping I can use it to put my bracelets onto my right wrist because Iā€™m really clumsy with my left hand. šŸ¤£

      1. I purchased and received the shoe stretcher kit. Itā€™s an engineering marvel! Itā€™s very easy to use and covers all issue one might have with tight shoes. How do we know that you are receiving ā€œcreditā€ for our purchases based on your suggestions?

      2. Iā€™m glad you like them! Theyā€™ve saved my feet lots of pain of stretching that tight spot where my bunion is. Itā€™s hard to know, but if you click through my link and complete a purchase without leaving, I should get credit.

  9. Please excuse me, I’m going to order right now, be right back…LOL

    1. Lol! Have a great day, Karen

  10. I use the lens wipes every day- best option I’ve found! Thanks for all the great tips!

    1. Me too! Iā€™ve always got them in my purse, my car, suitcase for eyeglasses and sunglasses.

  11. Joanne Stelzner says:

Hi Jennifer, I purchased the iwalk charger and the socks in nude. I hope they stay up! I discovered your blog a few months ago. We are leaving for London and Paris in 3 weeks and I have been pouring over all of your suggestions! Enjoy the coffee!

    1. Have a fabulous trip!

  12. LMNT has been a game changer for me! I play pickleball almost every morning in AZ and itā€™s hard to get enough water some days. I drink some of this before I play and then again after. I split the packet between the 2. I am going to order the socks today.

    1. Thanks for letting me know! Iā€™ll order some.

      1. Thanks for this list! I love Amazon for this sort of small but useful item. I recently discovered the Eyeglass Hinge Tighteners – those tiny rubber bands that slide along the side pieces and then stay on the hinge. I used to get them as part of an ā€œeyeglass repair kitā€ and was glad to be able to order them separately. Loose reading glasses are one of my pet peeves.

      2. Thatā€™s a brilliant idea! Mine always slide down my nose. This would help.

  13. I love all your recommendations! I already have the lens wipes and find them so helpful to carry a few for sunglasses, my prescription glasses and my phone screen. And I ordered the fashion tape you recommended. Next will be the bra straps and the purse hooks! Thanks for doing the legwork for us!

  14. Well, I just ordered the Wow texture spray you mentioned and the no show socks. This makes my shopping so much easier when you do the leg work! Thank you! I had already purchased the car hooks and love them too.
After a marathon winter, we are having a quick rebound into spring temps. May be close to 80 degrees today. I have a bundle of lily bulbs to plant. Canā€™t wait til they set up the greenhouses
    Happy day to all!

Great ideas! I love your Fearless tape and use it often. Here are 3 things that I have found and use all the time. Bamboo Queen makeup remover clothes. I use these every day to wash my face and they are so soft. Also wash and dry well. 2: headband for washing face along with wristbands. I especially like the wristbands as they keep my long sleeves dry. 3: laundry detergent cup. This keeps your cup right there and also keeps any drips from ending up on the floor. Have a beautiful day!

    1. Those are great ideas! Why did I never think of wrist bands. Brilliant!

    2. That is a great idea.

  16. Great ideas! I just bought a small gleaner recommended in your travel post. Iā€™m 73 and never even heard of such a thing. This little tool saved three cashmere sweaters headed for the donate bin and renewed a favorite pair of knit pants. Such a helpful tool to have. Thanks.

    1. I give gleaners as gifts now to women friends! Theyā€™re the best!

    1. Good to know, thanks Lisa!
