This star sweater virtually jumped into my hand as I wandered through Nordstrom last week:) There are a lot of things about it that appeal to me… but mostly it’s the stars. I’ve had a “thing” for stars for as long as I can remember.
We hit the Bocce Ball court again this week, and because we’re having mild weather, this sweater was a perfect weight. I’m wearing a size large. I wanted to be comfortable, look pulled together, but not be overdressed so here’s what I wore.
Why I Love This Sweater
- First…it’s navy which is one of my favorite colors this year.

- Second…the stars. They’re one of the few patterns I wear, They feel classic and modern with a touch of lighthearted and playful. Let’s face it, 2020 has been the pits so if something as simple as a pattern or color can bring you joy, I say go for it.
- Third, it’s soft. It’s a Pima cotton blend that’s cozy and feels luxurious against your skin. I knew I would love it with blue jeans and know it’ll also be terrific with my white jeans. Nothing looks crisper than navy and white in the spring.
I wore it with my barely boot cut jeans in the Bermuda Tide wash, 8 petite. This lighter wash is more casual than my Nightfall Wash, so they fit right in on the Bocce Ball court. I ordinally wear my boot cut jeans with a 1 or 1 1/2″ heel but found these worked well with my flat sneakers.
