Cruelty-Free Beauty Finds To Try From QVC This Fall

I love to try out new hair and beauty products…not because I don’t like the ones I use, but because there are so many great new ones coming out all the time! I’ve been testing some new-to-me, cruelty-free beauty finds from QVC that I’m excited to share with you.

This post is sponsored by QVC and ShopStyle Collective.Ā  All opinions are my own.

I had no idea that QVC carries so many terrific beauty products. Brand names that are favorites for many of us and impressive special deals with savings you won’t find in other places.

If you’re new to QVC, you get $10 off your first $25 order with the code HOLIDAYĀ  and $10 off the $25 purchase for second-time purchasers with the code HELLO10.

It’s a good idea to check their daily specials here each day for the biggest savings because things go fast!

OLAPLEX

I’ve been really anxious to try this Olaplex system because the reviews are impressive and it’s a cult favorite of many women.

The best deals sell out really fast on QVC! This Olaplex SuperSize No 3 plus 3 Piece Bond Building Hair Kit is a QVC exclusive before any other hair salons roll it out in October. The Special Value Set Price is $69.95.

olaplex hair care system

It’s a line of patented, bond-building treatment products that will repair, strengthen and leave hair healthier. It repairs damage from blowdryers, curling irons, hot rollers, flat irons, and is great for repairing chemical damage from coloring. It also helps with damage from brushing, pulling, and tugging. You don’t have to use all these products together to get great results, however, this is what they recommend for deep repair.

olaplex bond builder and hair perfector

No.0 combined with N0.3 is called known as the ultimate repair kit but it’s not a conditioner. It’s an at-home treatment that primes your hair for deep repair. All their products are free of DEA, Aldehydes, and Formaldehyde. Apply No.0 to your dry hair in small sections, and saturate from root to tip. Leave on for 10 minutes then apply No.3 Hair Perfector and leave for 10 or more minutes. My hair took quite a beating during my summer travels so it can use some intensive repair.

Follow with this No.4 and No.5 which are the daily cleanse and conditioning dynamic duo. They also repair, strengthen, and nourish all hair types but leave no buildup and don’t contain sulfates that can strip your color.

TULA PRIME OF YOUR LIFE2 tube of tula prine of your life from QVC

I am excited to try this TULA Prime of Your Life smoothing and firming primer treatment that gives your skin a velvety, soft-focus finish. My skin can always use some soft-focus:) This contains a proprietary blend of pro and prebiotics that plump, brighten, provide antioxidant protection that is seriously hydrating.

All TULA products contain probiotic extracts which are powerful ingredients thought to help improve skinā€™s natural balance. They nourish your skin to improve hydration, smoothness and soothe your skin.

You apply 2 (I’m using 3) pumps of this treatment primer to your skin as the last skincare item before applying your makeup. I love the fresh scent and my makeup glides on right over it. Most primers aren’t treatment so I appreciate this double-duty one.

ALGENIST GENIUS LIQUID COLLAGEN DUO

ALGENIST GEIOUS LIQUID COLLAGEN

Algenist has naturally sourced and sustainably produced algae-based formulas that are clean and safe for your skin. This Genius Liquid Collagen is plant-based collagen with Microalgae Oil beads that help to reduce lines and wrinkles. It also contains omegas three, six, and nine to smooth skin and Vitamin E to protect from free radical damage.

You apply this after cleansing and before moisturizing. I’m impressed with what taking collagen is doing for my nails so I’m looking forward to seeing what topical collagen will do for my skin:)

Right now, you can get this pack of two for $97.90 (plus shipping and handling). This would normally run $230+ if purchased separately!

Hi found you on Tik Tok..glad I did. Id love to try the triple strength wrinkle smoother, firming facial collegen serum, and the hydrosheild hydratng dream cream….now how do I find these products? Over QVC?
    Thanks for your time.

  2. Jennifer, I hope you’ll “report back” about any of these products that give you great results. I’ve been a QVC shopper for years, but never really bothered to try any of their beauty lines; just make-up. It will be interesting to see what you think.

    1. I used the Olaplex No 0 with No 3 this AM and love it! I left them on for 15 minutes each because my hair feels pretty damaged. It’s sort of miraculous how much smoother it looks. The TULA smells and feels so good, I have to make myself only use a few pumps:)

  3. I have been toying with the idea of a new shampoo…I think I might try this one.

I just visited with my sister, who I did not see in person for 1 1/2 years. I was staring at her hair the entire time, I finally asked what did you do to your hair. It looked so shiny and healthy. She said Olaplex! I bought some right away. I just have used the shampoo and conditioner so far, and my hair feels stronger and less flyaways and shinier. I will eventually try the other products. I do buy it at Nordstroms, since that is where I tend to shop. So, yup I am on the Olaplex bandwagon.

I do enjoy learning about new products from you. As a mature woman, it is way more helpful to hear from older women then young things about how great a product is for older skin issues. šŸ™‚

    1. Itā€™s fabulous isnā€™t it??

  5. Hi Jennifer, I donā€™t typically comment, but I enjoy your posts. Question about using a collagen supplement for your nails – what do you use? I must have missed this post. My nails are tissue paper thin.

  6. thank you for sharing some great finds from Qvc. A product line that I have used from QVC for 13 years is from Dr. Denese. She has a huge product line and the products have worked so well on my sensitive skin. I always like to try new products and Qvc is the retailer I go to.

    1. I love that her products are vegan and cruelty free. I need to try some. Which are your favorite?

      1. Jennifer, my favorite Dr. Denese products are: #1-Hydroshield Ultra Moisturizing Face Serum, Can’t Live WithOut!. #2 Triple Strength Wrinkle Smoother, Advanced Treatment, #3 Firming Facial Collagen ,Night Serum, #4 Firming Facial Microdermabrasion Cream. # 5Her hydroshield hydrating dream cream is a great product if you can tolerate it. I use this on my 69 year old neck along with the collagen serum.

Her facial cleansers are also very good. I really believe that these products have helped maintain my skin.

      2. Thanks so much, Karen. The Hydroshield sounds amazing! I also love the sounds of the firming collagen.

  7. Hi Jennifer,
I read your blog on a laptop. The ads are there, but do not impede my reading, I just scroll past them. I’m sure ads are what enable you to keep blogging.
I love your DRD and Would you wear it posts. So fun to hear what the other ladies say about the styles and how they would wear it – some good ideas.
I’m so happy to have a view into what other over 50s ladies are wearing and how they’re styling themselves.

  8. Jennifer what mascara do you use? Your eyelashes look so nice and I have tried so many different brands but can’t find the right one. Thanks

    1. I have several brands I love but lately itā€™s been this one by Ilia. It adds tons of length without clumping

Iā€™ve been a subscriber for a few weeks. Frankly, all the pop ups and ads drive me crazy. My phone jumps around as I scroll as yet another ad is loaded. Iā€™ve enjoyed your content, but do you want a blog or a ad department? Iā€™m going to opt out. Good luck.

    1. Sorry, they disturb you. They do help pay for maintaining my blog, so they are necessary. You can’t really go anywhere these days and not be served ads…even on Google, TV, radio, magazines.
