Is Quince Worth It? A Guide to Their Bestsellers
I don’t shop for sport. I shop to fill a gap, and I’d rather buy one well-made piece than three that fall apart by next season.
That’s why I was pleased to discover Quince a few years ago. The fabrics are solid, the cuts are clean, and the prices make sense.
Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites, along with some of their bestsellers, that can quietly strengthen a wardrobe built on good materials and thoughtful proportions. These are pieces that layer well, hold their shape, and work with what you already own. They change their colors often, so some of my pieces are in past season colors.

Why Quince? A New Kind of Affordable Luxury
Their direct-to-consumer model keeps prices lower, so you’re paying for fabric and construction rather than a designer label. That’s what first caught my attention. The cashmere, washable silk, and linen I’ve purchased have felt substantial, not flimsy, and they’ve held up well with regular wear.
What I appreciate most is the value equation. You can try elevated fabrics and classic silhouettes without making a four-figure commitment. For women who want quality materials, clean lines, and pieces that mix easily into an existing wardrobe, that’s a smart place to look.
Quince’s Best-Sellers
Washable Stretch Silk Skirts

Their silk skirts come in several lengths. I’m wearing the maxi in Champagne. I rolled the waistband over twice to get the exact length I wanted, and it stayed put, so no hemming was required. These skirts are not only beautiful and soft but also easily washable, which means no dry-cleaning hassle.
Most of the slip skirts I see brands selling are polyester, labeled as satin, but these ones are real silk, so they breathe and are more comfortable. For a cozier look, I’ve been pairing mine with a chunky knit sweater (like Quince’s 100% Organic Cotton Fisherman Boxy Cropped Cardigan), and I love the combination of textures.
Cashmere Sweaters

My first dip into Quince’s cashmere was with this $50 Cashmere sweater, which I now own in several colors! It’s made from 12-gauge, 100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere sourced from goats in Inner Mongolia and is incredibly soft. It comes in 11 colors this season.

I bought this cashmere hoodie for a trip to the Redwoods and reach for it often. It comes in 7 colors, and I already have my eye on the navy. I layered over one of my Quince cashmere tees, which feels a bit like LAYS potato chips…it’s hard just to have one. My lavender color seems to be sold out, but it comes in 7 other options.

This Mongolian Cashmere Cardigan is insanely comfy and priced under $139.90. I have worn this puppy on constant repeat. It comes in 8 gorgeous colors, and there will definitely be another color in my wardrobe this season.

This cashmere turtleneck is a steal at under $89.90. I was excited to pull this out of storage to wear this season. It feels cozy yet light, perfect for layering or wearing solo. Dress it down with jeans for a laid-back look, or layer it under a blazer.

I have this bestselling cashmere fisherman sweater in 2 colors, and adore it. It’s not so long that I have to tuck it, but long enough that I could if I wanted.

Cozy, soft, and the perfect layer for a cool day. I love popping this over a tee with jeans for an elevated, but sporty look. It comes in 4 shades this season.
Washable Silk Blouse

I love this silk blouse…it’s so soft and luxurious, with a gorgeous drape that you’d never guess comes without the high price tag. I own the ivory, which is a soft white shade that was perfect with my white jeans during the warmer months. Now that the temps are dropping, I’ve been layering it under cozy sweaters and jackets. My favorite part is that, like the skirts, it’s machine washable.
Handbags
Made from Italian leather, Quince’s handbags feel wonderfully luxurious and look far more expensive than they are. Their designs are classic and timeless, making them easy to pair with just about any outfit, no matter where your day or night takes you. They come in lots of great neutrals, and as with all Quince products, these handbags are built to last.

I love the texture and unique shape of this Italian Leather Convertible Crescent Handwoven Shoulder Bag. Plus, it can be carried in multiple ways!

You can’t go wrong with a timeless saddle bag, and this suede one looks gorgeous. It comes in three colors.

This bag looks just like a Bottega bag, at a fraction of the cost. It’s crafted from handwoven top-grain Italian leather for under $154. It comes in 6 colors.
Coats & Jackets
Quince has a great selection of coats and jackets, from lightweight, casual styles for everyday wear to warmer, more structured options for evenings out. Quince offers something for every occasion and every weather forecast.

This double-faced cashmere coat is simply amazing! It is the softest coat I’ve ever felt, and its elegant shape drapes beautifully. It comes in 4 fabulous neutrals and would be a stunning addition to any wardrobe.

This lightweight down puffer is great for travel or outdoor hikes. It even packs down into its own left pocket, making it incredibly easy to stash when you’re on the go! It comes in 4 colors.
Every woman needs a classic coat in their rotation, and this Italian wool one is a fantastic option. Available in 7 colors for under $200. It comes in 7 colors.

This Long Down Parka is the warmest coat I’ve ever worn. It’s engineered to keep you warm in temperatures as low as -48°F / -44°C…and I believe it! It comes in 9 great colors.
More Best Sellers from Quince:

This quilted bag is fabulous. It’s light as a feather, has tons of inner pockets to keep things organized, and holds a lot! It also slips over the handle of my suitcase.
- I’ve been hearing wonderful things about Quince’s other travel pieces, including this suitcase bundle and this travel pouch set.
- I have this Cashmere Fisherman Pullover Hoodie on my own wishlist!
- This cashmere wrap is perfect for draping over a dress, styling as a scarf with your winter coat, or snuggling up on a long flight.
Have you ever shopped at Quince? If so, do you own any of these best-sellers?

I just bought the silk maxi skirt, but was a little concerned about fit, since waist and hip measurements didn’t quite correspond to the Quince size chart. With the wide elastic waistband, all is well. This looks like it will be an excellent travel piece.
The navy looks so nice
I have been enjoying the clothing I’ve ordered from Quince. Living in the desert, the cotton-cashmere blend T-shirts and hoodies are perfect for the climate. I appreciate your color suggestions and always choose those that suit my surroundings. Thank you for all your helpful recommendations!
Quince bedding is fantastic, too. We got the family sheets and quilts for Christmas and they LOVED them!
I also have many Quince items in my closet that I wear frequently.
I LOVE Quince
Thanks for sharing what you love too
I’ve just started shopping at Quince as they just started shipping to Canada! I have the same boxy fisherman cardigan that you show but I have it in navy. It’s a great cotton sweater a a lovely weight for a cooler climate. I just received the Ponte straight leg pants and I absolutely love them. I love your blog you inspire me!
I’m so happy to hear that!
I have got to just go for it one of these days and order some of the items I have been thinking of purchasing. All of your pieces look so comfy. And…I adore purses and the Quince purses and totes are screaming at me to pick them.
We bought the $50 cashmere sweaters for Hanukkah 2023 in lovely colors for the family, and have had laundering and pilling issues. Also purchased one bamboo sheet set with durability issues. On the other hand, the cotton cashmere sweaters hold up and launder well, and are super soft. I really need a navy skirt, so I’m going to give the silk one a go. The price is excellent, definitely worth a try. Kid’s clothing has been very good.
I have a burgundy t shirt and 2 cashmere pull overs from Quince. Also slacks a camp shirt and 2 sleeveless tops in linen. I purchased the large woven tote for my trip to Europe last year. All are excellent quality. Love this brand.
I have a few cotton sweaters and t-shirts. I have a couple of handbags. I am thinking about some jeans.
Thanks for the Quince review. Question: Do you find that the zip front cashmere hoodie pills easily/badly? I ordered one a few weeks ago, but haven’t worn it yet as many reviews complained about pilling and holes developing. I’m trying to decide whether to keep it or send it back.
I have not had a problem. All cashmere pills so I use a sweaer shaver when they show up.
Hi Jennifer,
Have you thought of a way to make this brand available in Australia. Odd we can get stuff from UK but not quince. A lot of the manufacture is closer to Australia than US.
I have no idea what their future shipping plans are, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they do.
Hello Jennifer,
I have purchased several items from Quince and love each one. I have the hoodie in Navy and I reach for it frequently. Lightweight and warm.
Thank you for all the research you have done. I enjoy reading your daily posts.
Hi Jennifer,
I haven’t bought Quince for myself yet. I have bought a couple of their sweaters as gifts, for both men and women. I’ve seen them on and felt them. Very nice. They’ve been appreciated and worn on repeat by the recipients. I want to get some for myself sometime.
I have linen top and pants and love the quality. I also have two wool/cashmere crewneck sweaters and a navy cotton sweater. Love them all! Yes, I love Quince but have to have petite sizing. My sweaters are not and they are a bit long in length for me. Hopefully, they will continue to add more in my sizes. Love them!
Thank You, I love Quince. I relooked at my wardrobe, yes I have many pieces. I’m purchasing the leather drawstring cross-body and might add another hoodie…..love the quality..Thanks for highlighting these clothes
I love the clothing on Quince, but since I’m petite I need to know the length on their items. I can’t seem to find.
I have several Quince pieces. Their cashmere and leather bags are some of my favorites!
I have never shopped Quince before. Prices are good. Question on all the cashmere sweaters. How thick are they? I shopped Nordstrom Rack recently and looked at the Nordstrom cashmere sweaters but they were almost transparent. I hate to see my jeans through my sweater. Oh and the colors I am gravitating to now are cranberry, dark green and chocolate brown. Thanks for the information.
Some are chunky and some are thinner but none are like the kind you describe. It’s also color dependent. The lighter the color the more sheer if there is not texture.
Jennifer, thank you for what you do. I find your blog so enjoyable and helpful.
I have and love several Quince pieces but lately I am finding some items are only available on the app. I do my shopping on a laptop so this I find annoying. Why do they do this?
I saw that too and wonder why? It seems counterproductive to me.
I have several pieces from Quince and love them all. Particular favorites are their cashmere and leather bags.
Living in FL I thought cashmere was not for me but after one of your posts I bought 2 Quince cashmere ts. They are lovely and lightweight and only $30!
Awesome!
Love Quince and have bought several things from them the last few years. Living in southwest Texas where our temps are already in the 80’s, sweaters are no longer on my radar for this season. However, I’m looking to buy more of their linen which I highly recommend!
I love the linen too!
Unfortunately, my skin hates any type of wool-type clothing including Quince cashmere. I do love their linen and flow knit clothing though. It’s nice to have a source for well made, stylish clothing at reasonable prices.
I love all things Quince. I have several crewneck and a v neck sweater. It’s great to know about the coats and handbags. They look beautiful.
LOVE Quince! I am hoping they have more colors.
Me too!
I have several pieces from Quince. I’ve been happy with everything. The sweaters are so nice and I’ve gotten a lot of use out of the washable silk blouses. I also have two sets of their percale bed sheets. I love them!
I’m tempted to get the puffer coat. It’s on sale for $75!
News the perfect time to buy winter coats!
I have the quilted small crossbody tote and love it! It holds more than you would ever need, is lightweight, filled with pockets both inside and outside. I love using it and wonder what I will do come summer when I want another one in a “summer” shade… I also have a couple of their cotton cable cardigans because I love the relaxed look.
Quince is my new favorite place to buy pants! I cannot believe how comfortable their ponte pants are, and I own many pants of the same color with different leg shapes & lengths. Also, Quince purses are wonderful! I just may have to buy that suede saddle bag. Thanks!
I have shopped at Quince and am conflicted about the products. I purchased two cashmere sweaters which were lovely initially. After following the washing instructions provided, both sweaters shrunk. I want to love their products, but now feel uneasy about ordering other items.
How do you launder your cashmere sweaters? Have you experienced shrinkage with your sweaters?
I machine wash on gentle in cold water and hang dry. Before hanging, I put my arms up the side seams and give a strong tug to bring back to shape. After dry, I steam iron them smooth and pull back into shape then sweater shave. They look brand new!
I have purchased two v-neck cashmere sweaters from Quince. Unfortunately the cashmere irritates my skin so I don’t plan to buy more.
Hi Jennifer. Are the garments scratchy to the skin? Is an undershirt or cami recommended? Thank you for your posts and photos.
That’s really individual for each persons skin. Some people feel they need a tee underneath but I seldom do.
I have been a fan of Quince for several years. Their customer service is outstanding and I love that they have free shipping and free returns. My current favorites, in addition to their cashmere, are their ponte pants and their linen. I am currently building a linen capsule wardrobe to wear on my upcoming trip to the Philippines. Love it!
Your trip sounds amazing! If you love their linen you may also like their cotton gauze which I really like it. I have some wide leg pants and a summer dress.
I love looking through Quince’s website……if only I was a couple inches taller. I have a few of their pieces but I’m 5’ and their sweaters are too long on me😒.
They’re making a lot of cropped versions now, check for those.
Really enjoyed today’s post! You looked great in everything you shared. I found Quince a few years ago and love their affordable cashmere (I keep adding to my collection). I also find their jewelry and purses are great. I thought it would be difficult to give up my expensive “logo” leather bags. Still, since retiring from the corporate world to a quieter life by lakes and forests, Quince has been the perfect fit—great quality, packaging, customer service, and value. Their customer service is standout—fast to respond, easy to work with, and they make any issue right.
My heart skipped a beat when you described living by lakes and forests ♥️ Yes, their customer service is exemplary.
I am a Quince junkie! I live in the country so ordering online is my usual shopping route. I find the sizing runs small on me, especially the ponte pants, so I usually size up and am almost never disappointed. I have cashmere sweaters as well as the lighter cotton cashmere ones, several pairs of pants, a silk shirt, and a beautiful cocoon coat. I just got a cashmere cardigan in grey for an upcoming trip to Scotland. See what I mean?!
Oh yes, I sure do! Have a great trip! We were just talking about going to Scotland. Have a great trip.
I have several sweaters from Quince and two camisoles. Also a couple of linen pants. I love the quality I’ve seen and price can’t be beat.
Thanks Jennifer for your work.
Good Morning Jennifer. I also give a big thumbs up to Quince. I have purchased 5 cashmere sweaters, love them all, with the zip hoodie being my favorite. I reach for the hoodie often and will order a third. I like their denim jeans. Actually, now that I think about it, after receiving product, I have turned around and ordered another of everything. Their lightweight cotton/cashmere crew sweater is another favorite. And at a crazy good price = $29. Thanks for the heads-up on that duffle-tote. It’s going on my wish list.
Cotton/cashmere…hmmm. Now on my list to try. Thank you!
Love everything Quince.
From a die-hard, loyal to only Chico gal. So glad.
Huge Quince fan here and I love many of the same pieces. Additional recommendations: the linen (got a shirt last summer, matched pants from three years ago (black) that had not faded); luggage (almost can’t tell it apart from my Monos); flow knit workout stuff (like Vuouri). I want to try some of the home stuff and maybe shoes. The leather bags are really great quality, soften up with use. I have the woven cross body and I find it sturdier than the Clare V it knocks off. The long down “Superpuff” saved me this winter, and that cashmere zip hoodie is a signature item. Oh and I ordered a ceramic fry pan! Eyeing the knives for my son. They have athletic greens (the supplement). Heard they had caviar this Xmas. It never ends. What it does show is how much of a markup the “middleman” adds.
Exactly! I have their down pillows which are amazing. I bought the kitchen cutlery for our condo in Vancouver. I just got their woven cashmere throw for the couch… and my list goes on and on!
My palette is autumn and most colors Quince offers don’t fall in my palette. Last summer I bought several Quince linen and gauze shirts even though most weren’t particularly good colors for me. They were comfortable and I wore them around the house daily. Both the linen and gauze were high quality, washed well and I’d buy them again. This winter I bought one of the $50 cashmere sweaters. It was lovely and a decent weight but within a minutes of wearing it I broke out in a horrible itchy rash around my neck. My best guess it that either the neck ribbing or whatever the neck ribbing was sewn on with was wool which I cannot wear (other than merino). Quince has a great return policy and they accepted the sweater even though I wore it briefly. So I am wary of their cashmere now. I’m eyeing the cotton but the the sleeves look too long for me. I’m petite with narrow shoulders so based on where they hit you I’m guessing they’d be past my fingers.
Their colors can be limiting. I have their linen and last summer I tried their cotton gauze which is amazing! I need to do a part two of this post because I keep adding and love it.
I am also allergic to wool so appreciate reading about your experience before ordering it. I’m going to try the cotton instead. Love the good-quality fabric of their ponte pants.
I’ve had good success with Quince. Last fall, I purchased 2 pairs of corduroy pants that have been in rotation this winter. The bag and shoes I bought have held up nicely (hint: their Birkenstock style shoes are great.)
I cannot wear cashmere or wool at all, even the expensive brands, or would try their sweaters.
I have the Mongolian v neck sweaters that Jennifer modeled. I love them and the fit is great.
Thanks for this article. I’m very tempted to buy the silk maxi skirt. Can you provide info on the black & beige purse with striped strap please? So cute.
I bought it on a trip to Helsinki two years ago. It’s a favorite!
Been a quince fan from the beginning. Have many, many of their sweaters from cashmere to cotton. Love the quality and they always keep their shape. Great prices, good product. Recently bought a leather bag-again great product for a reasonable price. And they keep expanding product line. They have become my go to for basics. Great tshirts as well!
Interestingly, shirts are one of the few things I have not tried! I’ll have to fix that.
