My style recipe changes often but when something really rings my bell, it continues to do so for years. I’m careful about purging clothes and almost never get rid of accessories. I didn’t always feel this way. I’m still regretting my decision to donate a stunning gray suit several years ago. I hope the lady who got it realizes just how amazing it is.
This blue top also got away but I was able to replace it.
You first saw me wear this top 2 years ago. That was before I wore it to do the laundry. Before I splashed Clorox down the front. Before the bleach ate holes through it and I had to get rid of it
I finally decided to re-buy it. Yes, I’m a brand ambassador for Artful Home, but I am also a happy customer.
I love the cut, fabric, and color of this top plus the shape flatters my silhouette. In short, it is inherent to my style. A style that is inherent for you is instinctual, deep-rooted, feels natural and essential.
The 3/4 sleeves help me look taller and show off bracelets, which I wear a lot. The sleeves, neckline, and hem have lettuce edging which adds a small touch of femininity. The color is terrific and looks great with jeans, which I wear often.
Because the tunic is long, I’m wearing it with my skinniest legged jeans. These are the Soft Surroundings Metro leggings with an elastic waist. Elastic waistbands seem to have a dirty name but done right, they’re flattering and comfortable.
The asymmetrical shape feels modern which is one of the style words I gravitate to. Because I was wearing red toe polish and carrying a red handbag, I popped on some red lipstick.
Do you like to look modern?
Is it a style word you gravitate to?
