Weekend Sales and Favorites I’m Loving Right Now

Happy weekend, ladies. This week was a bit of a roller coaster here on the blog. I’m glad you’ve been wearing your seatbelts and stuck with me 😊. I had several posts almost ready to go out, and one that did go out, but I forgot to email it to you. This either falls into the category of trying to do too much at once or taking my foot off the gas and daydreaming, which is always a good thing for me.

Thursday was a very long travel day because our flight was delayed, then delayed some more until we flew in the dark…which is not my fav. The airport Wi-Fi was dismal, and there was none on the plane, so I knit and listened to a podcast I’d downloaded. Do you listen to any? Are there favorites you recommend?

Question of the week

I know I have a lot of readers who are avid travelers! Someone recently asked me about anti-theft bags specifically, and I thought I would crowdsource for your favorites. Most of the time I wear a Lo and Sons waist bag, but it isn’t designed to be anti-theft.

Nordstrom Rack currently has 125 deals in honor of Nordstrom’s 125th anniversary. I took a quick look through them and surprisingly found some wins:

• This classic Eileen Fisher shirt is a great piece you can wear year-round.
• Suede bags are really popular right now, and this wine colored one from Madewell is on sale.
• Black loafers are a great staple for fall, and these Sam Edelman Lucca loafers look Gucci-inspired but at a much better price.
