  1. There seems to be a disconnect between the ā€œIā€™m going to a partyā€ blouse and the ā€œIā€™m going to workā€ pants. I wouldnā€™t wear the blouse because thatā€™s not a good color on me and the last thing my broad shoulders need are fluffy puffed sleeves. The pants donā€™t fit into into my casual lifestyle.

  2. Barbara Thompson says:

Just not my style! The fru-fru of the blouse is too out there for me. I am generally not interested in statement blouses, but I donā€™t think that color would flatter me. I would never wear the two pieces together, but think plain black is a better choice with that blouse. Definitely a no.

  3. Color and print are nice, but I look silly in puffy sleeves since my shoulders are square. I’m not a fan of that blouse with those pants. They seem too structured for that blouse.

  4. I have two gifts left to wrap & then I’m ready for Christmas! I did a lot in advance this year because I had a cancer treatment at the end of November and wasn’t sure how that would leave me feeling. As it turns out, I bounced back very quickly. The only problem is that being ready so far in advance, I keep thinking that I must have forgotten to do something really important! lol

I wouldn’t wear that blouse as I don’t think the puffy shoulders would be flattering on me. I’m not huge in the shoulders, but big enough without adding anything more. Also, I don’t care for a flared crop pant.

  5. Bonna Nichols says:

My Home Ec teacher Mrs. Haver would give me a big fat F if I had left those big puffy shoulders! LOL! I remember using so many pins to keep from have any “puff’s” in the shoulder seams. Love the color but I would leave this one on the hanger!

  6. This combo is a no for me. 1) I don’t add visually to my shoulders and chest area, already too large in the bust department, so I look for ways to minimize the look of weight there. 2) Crop pants don’t look appealing on me.

  7. I would walk right past this. Don’t like brights. Don’t like gimmicky sleeves (too limiting with layering). If I was dressing the mannequin I would use basic black pants. The blouse looks dressy, the pants office-y.
