Who doesn’t love looking for children’s gifts!? Some excellent ideas.
Just a suggestion… if there’s an independent toy store in your community, perhaps spend your money with them, rather than a huge ( but no doubt convenient) business like Amazon. Where I live, there’s a great children’s wear and toy store which needs our business. Same goes for the independent bookstore . I can order in and pick up my purchases, and have a chat with the owners too. Small town perks.

    1. Agreed! I think the selection is why so many people shop online.

  5. I truly don’t mean to be a Scrooge, but I’m SO curious about the Elmer’s 10 Days of GUE Pre-Made Slime Variety Pack. (I’m out of touch with kids’ toys these days, plus I must have too much time on my hands to even be pondering this!) It says it’s an Advent Calendar, yet it shows 20 cups of slime… so what does 10 Days refer to? The box cover features lollipops and the name Sweet Retreat. The mix-ins look like candy sprinkles, but aren’t, yet it’s recommended for ages 3+. What little child isn’t going to want to eat this stuff? For the record, I checked out reviews and people give it good ones.

    1. I honestly can’t say because I haven’t seen it, but the reviews are good so it must make sense in person.

  6. Thank you for this great list. I have five grandchild between 3-6.

  12. So clever of you to offer suggestions for grandkids! Thank you; I see things my granddaughter would enjoy. Now, how about suggestions for my very hard to shop for son and son in law? Shopping for youngish men is impossible!
