Weekend Reading 3.16.24
Happy weekend, ladies. Our trip to Mexico will be winding down very soon. It felt so long when we first got here, but it’s passing in the blink of an eye now. I suppose all holidays are that way. We’ve revisited most of our favorite restaurants and had an amazing time catching up with my sister-in-law and brother, Pete. I wore the outfit below to one of our dinners out at the nice hotel in town.

We’re visiting Loreto Bay
You missed a 48 hour snowstorm! Nice to be where it is warm. We have 12” of snow but should melt fast as we have several days of 60 degree weather this coming week. This is the longest and biggest snowstorm we’ve seen in Colorado in the last 29 years we’ve lived here. It is double nice that you are able to see your brother. Well, back to my Audible book!

I am never totally satisfied with what I bring on trips. The weather, where we go, all seems to be a challenge for clothes and shoes for me. I guess what is important is who we see, and what we do on vacation. Sometimes I think most people don’t really care or see what we wear. You always look great in what you wear , bright or neutral.

When I go to a sunny, vacation spot, I pack more patterned, light or bright clothing pieces. Fun pieces! It just feels right to be playful with your wardrobe while away. Same reason I take checked luggage. The one time I packed light, I was so bored with my repeat wardrobe.
The first day of spring is Tuesday. Now, that makes me happy!
I did bring a few brighter pieces, but not enough.
