Happy weekend, ladies! We made it to Mexico and are loving the sun. The temperature is on the cooler side right now, but it’s expected to climb. I’m ok with any temperature because it’s so lovely to get away and spend time with my brother and sister-in-law. I checked a bag for the first time in a very long time, and it was effortless.
I used my TopTote hat clip, which proved to be genius and was strong enough to hold both my and my husband’s hat. Here’s a closeup of it in action.

You are off to Mexico and I am back from Palm Springs where the weather was *perfect* this week. I’m looking forward to seeing what outfits you decided to take.
I noticed your Frank and Eileen pieces. I have been thinking of purchasing the Belfast Jacket. F&E is expensive and also charge for returns and exchanges. Becomes costly if one orders the wrong size. Nordstroms has some of their pieces. That would be the only way try something on at home, then return. Seems like a lot of work. What is your feedback regarding this company?
Iāve been very happy with them. It arrived within days without paying for expedited shipping. Iām fortunate to be in the middle of the size do guessed correctly. I agree, it would be easy to try their pieces from Nordstrom.
I travel “with you”. . .just took a short jaunt to Santa Barbara with only carry ons, (but fetchingly outfitted a la Jennifer, in a very light blue, extra light puffer, three quarter coat) keeping me warm and dry for walking and dining.
Southwest Air is into making you stuff hats, coats, etc into your carry bag so that you only have TWO items for Carrying. Rats, I liked your hat clip.
Packable hats are great for that. I’ve never had that issue and if I did, I’d pop it on my head to wear onto the plane.

I use Apple AirTags when traveling. It gives me peace of mind to see it loaded on the plane and watch as it follows me. How wonderful it must be to be in sunny Mexico. We usually travel somewhere warm in February/March but this year I had a hip replacement, so Iām grounded.
I hope your hip is recovering well. That’s going to make such an improvement for you.
Jennifer, you always dress so well but I especially admire your traveling style! Hope every minute of your trip is delightful. Enjoy the sun , warmth and food!

We are in the Baha, staying at my brother’s second home with him and my sister-in-law (who I’m crazy about).
What do you do with the hats on the plane?
I put mine, upside down, under the seat in front of me. Or, if there’s room, in the overhead, on top of my carry-on.
