Recent Reader Favorites to Buy from Amazon During Prime Days

One of my favorite things to do is dive into my analytics and see what AWSL readers are buying. After looking at what you purchased during Amazon Prime Days in July, I realized many of the items weren’t even things on sale but rather reader favorites. You can see what they were here. In honor of Amazon Prime Day kicking off again tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to share what AWSL readers have loved and purchased the most recently from Amazon. I’ve also rounded up my most popular Amazon posts below for you. You can also head to the “Amazon” tab in the navigation to find even more posts.

AWSL Reader Favorites from Amazon

Long Hooded Raincoat

I shared this coat in my recent finds from Amazon and noticed so many of you purchased it that I thought I should mention it again. I love the Burberry vibes it gives off, and the ratings are very positive. If you live in a climate where the fall and winter months are cold or rainy, you need a nice hooded raincoat in your arsenal. This neutral-colored one will go with everything, but it also comes in several other great colors like navy, army green, black, and burgundy. Plus, itā€™s long enough to keep your bottom dry while youā€™re out walking.

Flameless LED Candles

Thereā€™s something so cozy about the glow of a flickering candle, especially this time of year. If youā€™re like me and worried that youā€™re going to forget to blow your candles out before leaving the house or falling asleep, these are safe alternatives. I also love that you can snuggle these into bookshelves and other cozy spots where itā€™s just not safe to have an open flame.

Dermend Moisturizing Bruise Formula

The older we get, the thinner and more fragile our skin becomes, which can translate to bruising easier. A quick bump into something or a routine blood draw at the doctor is all it takes for an unsightly bruise to appearā€¦and they seem to take forever to go away! Arnica is great for helping bruises heal quicker. Plus, this moisturizing formula also contains ceramides and retinol for quicker cell turnover.

Truvani Chocolate Plant-Based Protein Powder

This stuff is delicious! I used another powder for years, but once I tasted thisā€¦itā€™s all I use in my morning smoothie. If you struggle to get enough protein into your diet like I do, try incorporating a protein powder into your daily routine. This one from Truvani is made with just a few high-quality organic ingredients, unlike many protein powders that have an ingredient list as long as your arm. Itā€™s a plant-based pea protein powder that has no soy, wheat, dairy, gluten, or stevia and is sweetened with organic monk fruit.

Amazon Essentials Sweater

I don’t often share Amazon fashion, but I did share a few recent finds, like this sweater, that went over really well with readers. A cable knit sweater is a timeless staple for cooler months, and this one seems like a great piece to try for under $30. It’s a cotton blend that comes in eight colors in sizes XS-XXL. The reviews are very positive, and most call out how soft it is. The espresso is a great choice since chocolate brown is trending.

Advanced Clinicals Manuka Honey

You’re probably tired of hearing me talk about this moisturizer, but I’ll never stop because it’s so good. It is my number-one bestseller by far, and so many of you rave about it as well. By 60, our skin isnā€™t producing the same amount of collagen and natural oils as our younger skin. To counteract that, Iā€™ve found it invaluable to slather a good-quality moisturizer all over my body when Iā€™m fresh out of the shower. Formulas that contain squalane, hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid, and lactic acid are some of the best for moisturizing aging skin. I also reapply to my legs and arms each night. It may seem like overkill, but the extra effort makes a world of difference. I shared in this post that I moisturize every day and night with this affordable lotion that doesnā€™t break the bank.

Lens Cleaning Wipes

I hate my glasses being dirty or smudged, so I always make sure I keep lens wipes in my purse and car to help keep my glasses clear. I like these wipes because they are individually wrapped, and a box lasts me for ages!

Warner’s Lightly Lined Bra

This bra has quickly become my favorite! It has flexible foam cups and extra coverage side panels to provide a seamless fit for your tops. The elastic-free sides and back provide bulge-free underarm smoothingā€¦even under a tank top! You can read more about my love for Warner’s bras here.

Nozin Nasal Sanitizer

If you have any upcoming flights or crowded events like festivals or concerts on your fall or winter calendar, I wanted to put this on your radar! A reader shared it with me, and I used it on my trip to Portugal. You swab your nose with one of the included cotton swabs to decrease germs for up to 12 hours safely. Let me know if you have ordered it and tried it!

Suction Cup Magnifying Mirror

This travel makeup mirror has three suction cups on the back, which hold it very solidly to any window or mirror. This mirror has 10X magnification plus a backlit LED light, which my old one didnā€™t have. The older my eyes get, the more light I need to see things clearly, so this one is pretty cool and a must-have for my suitcase!

Do you use the Honey Moisturizer on your feet?

  2. I ordered several of your recommended items and have been pleased with the lens cleaner and the Advanced Clinical Manuka Honey cream (BTW, I am using it on my face along with organic Castor Oil which another blogger mentioned recently). I’m liking the results on my almost 74 year old skin! Although I had high hopes for the Nozin on my recent flight/vacation, I woke up with a lousy cold on the return trip day. This was after approximately 12 days of usage. I’ll try it again since the bottle isn’t empty, but was so hopeful it would help me prevent the frequent colds I get from my young grandkids. Thanks for all the suggestions!

    1. That’s good to know about the Manuka Honey cream. It is full of great ingredients.

  3. Vicky Wheeler says:

I am enjoying your blogs. Do you use the Manila Honey on your face? I have normal skin and use Clinique Smart Moisturizer but am feeling itā€™s getting too expensive. Thanks!

    1. No I donā€™t use it on my face.

  4. I’m not surprised that these items on the list were so popular. Those were the very same things I looked at and have purchased some previously. Amazon can’t be beat!

  5. Put the Warners bra in my cart for my mom who is 87 and hard to fit and the honey moisturizer for myself. Been wanting to try that one! Always appreciate the suggestions, thanks!
