Your Favorite Amazon Finds to Buy During Prime Day
I often share my favorite things that are on sale, but I thought I’d turn the tables today. The Amazon Prime Day sale kicks off today, and I thought it would be fun to share what AWSL readers have loved and purchased the most lately.
I’ve added an “Amazon” tab in the navigation bar above that links to the posts below

1. Ecco Slip-On Sneaker
This is one of my favorite slip-on sneakers. I have the metallic version below and am thinking of adding a “night sky” pair for fall.
They have a cushioned insole with arch support and leather upper/leather and textile lining/synthetic sole. The insole is also removable so that you can use your own custom orthotic.
2. V-Neck Short Sleeve Dress
I don’t think you would ever guess that this dress came from Amazon. I’ve shared this blue dress before, and many of you have discovered it’s a great option at an affordable price. I dressed it up with a pair of low-block heels, making it appropriate for a wedding, shower, graduation, dinner, and so much more. This print is called ‘Floral16’, although you can find it in many other colors and patterns. S-3X.
3. Warner’s Easy Does It Underarm-Smoothing Bra
This made the list as one of the most comfortable bras for women over 60. The padding is sewn in, so you never have to worry about losing them in the wash plus, the smoothing side panels get rid of any underarm rolls or lumps you may be looking to camouflage. I’m putting this one on my list to try, and it’s so affordable at under $20!
4. Straw Tote Bag
Straw and rattan handbags are super popular this year. I have a large collection of them myself, and this one is a great inexpensive option! I love its unique shape and wooden ball.
5. The Drop Gauze Maxi Skirt
I love black denim just as much as the next gal, but it can be too hot for a summer outfit. Billowy styles like this gauze maxi skirt will be cooler in sweltering temperatures because they allow for airflow. I wrote about some easy ways to wear black in the summer here.

1. Purito Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence
Purito is a Korean skincare brand that makes eco-friendly formulations that are 100% cruelty-free, vegan, hypoallergenic, and incredibly affordable. I’m obsessed with this simple essence, and it’s so affordable! I apply it to my face in the morning and evening, right after washing it. It has changed my skin in an amazing way and has become a never miss in my morning and evening routine. I even added some to a small travel-sized bottle so I can bring it with me on my travels.
2. MDSolarSciences Tinted Lip Balm
An often overlooked place where women (and men) get sun damage is their lips. I’ve been using this tinted lip balm to protect my skin while adding color. I have several colors and often wear it over my lipstick just to be sure my lips are protected.
3. ColorWow Style on Steroids Texturizing Spray
I recently tied this Color Wow On Steroids styling spray, and it’s amazing. It doesn’t have the dry shampoo feel, yet it adds tons of body.
4. Schick Hydro Silk Touch-Up Disposable Razors
At-home dermaplaning has never been easier with these handy razors. They remove peach fuzz on your face and exfoliate your skin. When I don’t have time to use my Epilator or my new Dermaflash, I will use these for a quick clean-up, and no…my facial hair does not grow back stubbly or thicker. I also find this helps with the flakes I get when I’m over zealous with my Retin-A.
5. Clean Skin Club Clean Towels XL
I really dislike ruining my washcloths with black mascara and eyeliner. When I saw these biodegradable facial towels, I thought they were genius. They’re 100% biodegradable, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly (made from 100% bamboo fibers.)
Miscellaneous Best-Sellers
1. No-Show Ankle Socks
So many of you have bought these socks! Some sneakers have a lower profile around the ankles and require no-show socks. But I’ve found it’s super hard to get ones that actually stay put while you walk. These socks have almost 10,000 positive reviews, come in several different colors, and are under $20 for a pack. I ordered them and can attest they’re great!
2. Mini Portable Charger for iPhone
I hate being out and about, especially on a long day, and having my phone battery dying. This portable and rechargeable iPhone power bank comes in handy again and again. I keep this in my car now, and it’s saved me more than once!
3. Razor Bra Strap Holder
I’m not a fan of letting your bra straps poke out in the back or at the shoulders. With the warm weather coming, quite a few tank tops and dresses require a racerback bra. If you don’t own one, these clever little strap holders are a great solution to help you convert a normal bra into a racerback, and they’re under $10!
4. Car Hooks for Bags and Purses
I loathe having shopping bags and grocery store bags sliding all over my car when I’m driving. These car hooks keep everything organized and out of the floorboard. They come in several different leather colors so that you can match them to your car interior.
5. Jewelry Fastener
I saw someone share this on Instagram and was shocked I’d never thought of this myself. Bracelets and jewelry clasps can be a headache to fasten, especially if you suffer from arthritic hands or are always having to ask your partner. I like that they can also help in clasping your watch if you need it.

What’s a favorite you always buy at Amazon?
I too, love those luggage “sculptures” in the Sac airport!!
Well, I bought the bra to try, bought the iPhone charger, actually 2, one for my best friend who had a 3 hour black out and had not charged her phone yet. And I bought another pair of Go Walk slip ons by Skechers in Taupe. Oh and the razors for fuzz. Got a lot for $92 and change! Thank you for these ideas and links!
You did well!!
Super suggestions, Jennifer. Re the i-Phone mini charger; (when you featured them last year on one of the Xmas Shopping Lists) I did purchase a few for my Tween and Teenage Grand Children as a stocking stuffer and from all reports they do use them.

I love mine too.
