Happy weekend, ladies. Here is what I wore to travel up to Canada this past week. And while I felt extremely casual, I was still feeling put together and comfortable. A lady in the security line commented on how much she liked my outfit (which is always a nice thing to hear) and so I wanted to share it with you all.
I try to compliment women often, compliments are so easy to give and so welcomed to receive. I think we should build each other up, and you could really make someone’s day!

You look wonderful such a fantastic look !! I too love Frank and Eileen and one day l am going to buy one of the travel sets and a Peacoat, the wish list is long !! I just treated myself to a new Eileen linen shirt and a Rory dress as l think their linen is so good and perfect for summer. But just like you said, l want to edit my wardrobe and buy clothing that will last and comes from a reputable source.Lo and Sons had a great sale just after Christmas and l bought the same travel bag in navy and it’s such a find, highly recommend. You look great, but I don’t think I will ever get into the frayed look. Lucky you back in Canada. I have a trip planned for October (Maritimes) but it seems a long way off.
Jennifer, I just love your Frank and Eileen travel set. You look so polished and put together yet comfortable for travel at the same time. I’ve been slowing growing my Frank and Eileen wardrobe, and yes, it is an investment but I believe it’s worth it. Although I have lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years, I was born and raised in Vancouver and to me, it is and always will be one of the most beautiful cities. Going there to visit family and friends in June and I can’t wait! Enjoy your time in Vancouver and Happy Easter to you and your family!

I have been intrigued by Frank & Eileen for a long time. Your outfit got my instant attention because it looks so nice. My questions around your travel set involve the lack of elastic in the fabric (do the knees and seat bag out) and also the raw seam edges (do they look unfinished). I really like the look of this line, but for the price, want to make sure it’s money well spent. Thanks
The seat did not bag out but the knees did by the time I got off the plane. If that sort of thing bothers you, I’d stick to her fleece dress, which I adore, and her jackets which are fabulous! I know it’s more expensive than many lines, but her comnpany ethics are as stellar as Eileen Fisher which I love. They’re a proud B corp which means more and more to me. Nothiing fast fashion about them!
